The Rudakubana narrative seems, at best, improbable.
With the Skripal fiasco in mind, how on earth could it take until now to work out what he may have been up to with his castor beans (readily available on Amazon (and elsewhere, of course))?
Presumably, he hadn't managed to actually make any ricin, or everyone would be dead. Wouldn't they?
On this point, I do recommend Sam Bailey on "bio-weapons":

In the event of a scrap in the street, or a robbery, or a traffic collision, police will immediately cordon off the area, to preserve evidence, and to reduce the risk of further harm.
The exception to this, of course, is a nerve agent attack, with the potential for mass casualties, where it is customary to do absolutely nothing, save for creating spaces within which the public may eat sandwiches.
As David Lammy continues to prove, certain special qualities are required in order to hold an office of state.

Dramatic seems to be the right word.
This is from ONS data released on 28 Oct 24:
"In 2023, there were 591,072 live births in England and Wales, a decrease of 14,407 compared with the previous year (605,479), and the lowest number of live births on record since 1977 (569,259).
It is also the first time the number of live births for England and Wales has dropped below 600,000 since 2002. Records of live births first exceeded 600,000 in 1851 (615,865) and have been recorded below this number for only 11 of the past 172 years."
UK population in 1977 approx 56 million; 12 million fewer than today.

In response to those wondering why I did not make reference to the Speaker's Statement at 1159 yesterday morning, in the news segment about censorship, it is because I was not aware it had happened, as we were in the thick of putting the programme together.
However, in response to a reference to the Southport case, he said:
"I wish to remind the House that, following the horrendous, terrible incident in Southport on 29 July, a suspect is awaiting trial, having been charged with multiple offences. That means that the House’s sub judice resolution is engaged, and references should not be made to the case. I know that all hon. Members wish to see justice done in this case. It is therefore paramount that nothing is said in this House that could potentially prejudice a proper trial or lead to it being abandoned.
I know it can be frustrating when we see reports in the media of matters that we are not free to discuss here, but that arises from Parliament’s constitutional relationship with the courts. More importantly, at the heart of this case are three young girls. We all want justice to be done for them and their families, and for others injured in and affected by this appalling incident. Speculation about the case, including comments made in this House, could seriously risk prejudicing proceedings. I know that none of us would ever wish to do that. Therefore, it would be wrong of me to exercise a waiver in this case. Members should not refer to it, or risk prejudicing it."

But, first, witness this from the BBC:
"There’s a feeling here that Ukraine should have negotiated at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, to prevent the death and destruction they’ve seen since.
Both sides engaged in talks in those early months of 2022. But evidence of alleged Russian war crimes halted attempts at diplomacy, and strengthened Ukraine’s resolve to fight on."
Stringing up Boris Johnson (and others) would be a waste of good string.

Whilst I do not believe that NFU is remotely interested in food security, or farmers, or in the preservation of the environment, a record of resistance is worthwhile.
The Government will lob the petition into the bin, but when the transition into civil disobedience is made, this will be one of the markers which telegraphed what was coming:

The first visit of a Cypriot president to the White House in nearly 30 years. What is this all about?
The British Air force base in Akrotiri, Cyprus and the US military that has muscled in there too.
Poor Cypriots have no say, but they sure as hell could resist. It's not about the aid, it's about the war and the intelligence, the refueling for bombers and the constant airbridge to replenish Israeli weapons stockpile.
Time to boycott Cyprus?!

Join Us at the Farmer Rally Tomorrow.
Brian and Mike will be attending the farmer rally in London tomorrow.
The organisers have changed the meeting point from Trafalgar Square to Richmond Terrace on Whitehall (opposite Downing Street) because they are expecting more people to attend than Trafalgar Square could accommodate. They are asking for people to gather from 11am.
Join us if you can!
