Terrorgram added to list of proscribed terrorist organisations

The UK is to become the first country in the world to proscribe the Terrorgram collective, with draft proscription order laid against the group today.

"The UK is the first country to proscribe this organisation, demonstrating the government’s commitment to tackle Extreme Right-Wing terrorism and online radicalisation in all forms. It also showcases the ability of the proscription tool to be applied to an online terrorist network, and is the first time it has been used in this way.

Following an internal review, the term ‘Extreme Right-Wing Terrorism’ was adopted as the umbrella term to make it clear that those who hold mainstream right-wing views will not be in scope of any action by counter-terrorism authorities."

In a brief segment on UK Column News this afternoon, I gave an update on the utterly inappropriate plans for the Holocaust Memorial in Victoria Tower Garden. The parliamentary committee supposedly scrutinising the Bill have pulled their punches, or so it seems.

However, bearing in mind that the teaching of the Holocaust is the only compulsory component of the entire history curriculum, perhaps that should not come as a surprise.

Were you aware of that?

"In recognition of its significance, the Holocaust is the only historic event which is compulsory within the history curriculum. Pupils must be taught about it at Key Stage 3 (usually when pupils are aged 13-14).

The Holocaust has been a named topic within the history curriculum since the first curriculum of 1991."

Here, enshrining teaching of the Holocaust in law is seen as "balanced". Might there be other historical events, in British history, to balance this with?

A remarkable result for Matthew Randolph in the election for PCC, where he stood as an independent candidate in Gloucestershire.

It must be noted that his opponents Martin Surl and Chris Nelson have both held the post before (Nelson incumbent) and that Ashley Smith is politically aligned and, therefore, supported.

Randolph's campaign was arranged hastily and actively subverted by mainstream media, the BBC in particular. Nonetheless, he polled over 15,000 votes, campaigning on a ticket of truth and transparency. He was outspoken on the issue of the illegal development of a 5G network in the county and the failure by police to address criminal activities which led to vaccine harms.

And, by the same token, they may not have done.

The Julian Assange film 'The Trust Fall' is playing at 88 Odeon cinema sites across the UK on Wednesday 8th of May.

I would urge people to go and see it if you can.

It is a mind blowing film, and if enough bums are on seats, Odeon will extend the films run.
