"I have found that writing on a computer fragments my thinking. When I write by hand or by typewriter, I have to plan out the whole sentence or paragraph before I start writing it, because if I write myself into a corner I cannot so easily erase, modify, or cut and paste. Writing on a computer (like now), I can think carelessly and in shorter chunks."

Charles Eisenstein articulating something that I have also thought, ever since being first confronted by a computer. I wonder about the thought processes of the generations which grow up having to think onto a keyboard. And, of course, that's just the start of it.

In UK Column News Extra, on Wednesday 13th March 2024, Mike Robinson spoke about geoengineering. Predictably, the forum was awash with comments afterwards. There have been a few brief references to that discussion in the comments on this channel. A few things…
You know you've posted something about chemtrails when.......the comments rise by a factor of 20!

Thank you very much to you all for a series of well considered and comprehensive responses. The point of my original post was to encourage people to play the ball and not the man and this has, almost exclusively, taken place. Finding common ground will always be more important than nitpicking.

In summary, there is complete agreement over the certainty which which flight activity creates cloud cover, which affects the weather.

It is clear that a considerable number of people have conducted a considerable amount of research into this topic. If there have been differences of opinion then I hope that none has been seen as a direct challenge to the beliefs of the others. Rather, an alternative perspective.

Now for the most important part. What is to be done? There were references to legislative processes in the United States, concerning the outlawing of geoengineering. Below, I will post a number of initiatives that have fallen flat or are yet to realise an outcome.

To those who have immersed themselves in the subject; what actions are you involved in, or aware of, which aim to prevent intentional weather modification? To those that have not considered the topic in any great depth, but can see obvious effects, how can this genuine environmental problem be tackled?

(For clarity's sake, I am not, in any way, advocating for reduced air travel. I would, however, advocate for an examination of aviation fuel and its additives.)

That'll do it (you may need to zoom in to read the sign).

Marlborough Golf Club expressing their commitment to the balance between profit and the environment. Yes, the foreground of the photograph marks the entirety of the push for biodiversity.

It rather reminds me of Basil Fawlty's approach to cuisine, related during Gourmet Night. Once they'd arranged the night itself, he suggested that "on the other nights we'll just have a big trough of baked beans and garnish it with a couple dead dogs."

I was just thinking about things that are completely absurd, when I remembered this. Fortunately, there are no alerts at the moment.

The Government is to be credited with a certain magic if it is able to warn of danger nearby without knowing the location of the victim.

It looks jolly safe. Effective, too.

Images of England, 2024.

I wonder if you have any good data on how many times these things get used and, more importantly, how many times they actually save a life.

It seems not altogether unlikely that it might be quicker to rewire the contraption and call an ambulance with it.

First personal greeting I've had from GovDotUK Watch, and it didn't disappoint.

Refreshing dip in Plymouth Sound at dawn, with a good view of HMS Iron Duke.

Hard to determine her serviceability from that range....

“Regulation is really all about getting people to act in ways they would not
otherwise choose, for the best.”

This gem comes from Glenys Stacey’s foreword to her 2018 Farm Inspection and Regulation Review and works well as a pithy exhibition of the utter disdain and mistrust with which the Government treats the public it is paid by, to work for.

If you are aware of the work of Sam and Mark Bailey, then you probably know about this book launched recently. If not, then I would very much encourage you to get into their material and manage your own health.

The book is called The Final Pandemic and the best place to buy it is Lulu.

Sam has a Telegram channel, which links to all of her content: https://t.me/drsambaileyofficial

It looks as though this may have fallen off during abdominal surgery.

Given the extremist backlash after the lookalike and medical records scandal, perhaps leaving a mole behind was prudent.

....and, are anyone else's daffodils still flowering like this this year in London?

Echoes of "COVID": it's OK for all the other Russians to die, but sad that these ones did.
