Full house now confirmed. Remember if you suggest white people are being replaced in anyway shape or form and put up stickers to that effect you could face jail. Something seriously wrong here.

Like a number of others on this channel, I was lucky enough to take a seat at Bob Moran's Art-pocalypse last night. It was an absolute corker.

He had memorised a 10,000 word script, including over a hundred slides, live drawing and live music (Bob himself playing the occasional guitar). Other than being extremely impressive and engaging, it was a very moving journey over some of the more uncomfortable track of the past few years.

As seems to be the case at similar events, the atmosphere was most convivial and new conversations were easily opened. A most memorable evening and one that I would very much encourage you to aim for, if he is able to put on another.

Yet, this is the problem. Dingwalls, at Camden Lock, hosted last night's event. There is a vanishing number of venues capable of holding their nerve and actually permitting such an event to go ahead.

If you know of a decent sized venue that you think would be likely to accept Bob and his supporters, please post in the comments.

In UK Column News Extra, on Wednesday 13th March 2024, Mike Robinson spoke about geoengineering. Predictably, the forum was awash with comments afterwards. There have been a few brief references to that discussion in the comments on this channel. A few things have become clear, in reading the comments and interactions.

There are one or two issues out there which provoke significant intransigence; this is one of them. The point of this post is not to try to change anyone's mind. Rather, it is to encourage a pause for thought before assuming that someone else's beliefs are a direct challenge to yours.

The specifics of the issue are a quagmire of respectable proportions, so I do not want to become bogged down in them. However, like lots of other people on this channel, I have seen plenty of videos on "chemtrails". I have read a lot about geoengineering, solar radiation management, and the rest of it.

I have also seen a great many completely pointless, wobbly camera videos of aircraft in flight.

Depending upon the atmospheric conditions, there is no doubt that where there are aircraft, there are clouds. This is observable. I say depending upon the atmospheric conditions because it is also easy to observe a clear sky with aircraft moving across it.

On the occasions that flights result in cloud, we are witnessing the pollution of the atmosphere, the consequences of which are reduced sunlight, harm to health and harm to the environment, for a start. Whatever you believe are the reasons for this occurring, there are very few sticks with which to hit the perpetrators. Air quality regulations are the most obvious one. Without evidence, there is no challenge to be made. If there were, it would have been made.

Some countries have declared, openly, that weather modification, or a variant thereof, has taken place or is taking place. The UK, which is where the majority of this channel reside, is not one of them. There are many institutions and organisations openly working on geoengineering, but none that can be proven to be conducting it at the moment.

The reason I refer to the videos as completely pointless is that they prove nothing. They will never be able to prove anything. To say so does not mean that I do not consider what is going on in the sky to be catastrophic. I think that the effect that aviation has on us and the environment is extremely detrimental. The only coordinated action, involving thousands of participants, which can be proven and—therefore—tackled, is the day-to-day activity of the entire aviation industry.

In summary, this is not to dismiss what are referred to as "chemtrails". As mentioned above, I see the same sky as everyone else, but I do not refer to the exhaust as chemtrails because of the absence of evidence. I would prefer to deal with what I can prove and challenge those that put forward grotesque theories with the intent to manipulate the climate.

UK Column News exclusive:

Quite by chance, the sentences that were muted by Parliament TV during Bell's committee hearing—some of them with the screen also blacked out—were sensitive remarks (highlighted here) about how well Britain's medicines regulator is doing.

"I have found that writing on a computer fragments my thinking. When I write by hand or by typewriter, I have to plan out the whole sentence or paragraph before I start writing it, because if I write myself into a corner I cannot so easily erase, modify, or cut and paste. Writing on a computer (like now), I can think carelessly and in shorter chunks."

Charles Eisenstein articulating something that I have also thought, ever since being first confronted by a computer. I wonder about the thought processes of the generations which grow up having to think onto a keyboard. And, of course, that's just the start of it.

You know you've posted something about chemtrails when.......the comments rise by a factor of 20!

Thank you very much to you all for a series of well considered and comprehensive responses. The point of my original post was to encourage people to play the ball and not the man and this has, almost exclusively, taken place. Finding common ground will always be more important than nitpicking.

In summary, there is complete agreement over the certainty which which flight activity creates cloud cover, which affects the weather.

It is clear that a considerable number of people have conducted a considerable amount of research into this topic. If there have been differences of opinion then I hope that none has been seen as a direct challenge to the beliefs of the others. Rather, an alternative perspective.

Now for the most important part. What is to be done? There were references to legislative processes in the United States, concerning the outlawing of geoengineering. Below, I will post a number of initiatives that have fallen flat or are yet to realise an outcome.

To those who have immersed themselves in the subject; what actions are you involved in, or aware of, which aim to prevent intentional weather modification? To those that have not considered the topic in any great depth, but can see obvious effects, how can this genuine environmental problem be tackled?

(For clarity's sake, I am not, in any way, advocating for reduced air travel. I would, however, advocate for an examination of aviation fuel and its additives.)

That'll do it (you may need to zoom in to read the sign).

Marlborough Golf Club expressing their commitment to the balance between profit and the environment. Yes, the foreground of the photograph marks the entirety of the push for biodiversity.

It rather reminds me of Basil Fawlty's approach to cuisine, related during Gourmet Night. Once they'd arranged the night itself, he suggested that "on the other nights we'll just have a big trough of baked beans and garnish it with a couple dead dogs."

I was just thinking about things that are completely absurd, when I remembered this. Fortunately, there are no alerts at the moment.

The Government is to be credited with a certain magic if it is able to warn of danger nearby without knowing the location of the victim.

It looks jolly safe. Effective, too.

I wonder if you have any good data on how many times these things get used and, more importantly, how many times they actually save a life.

It seems not altogether unlikely that it might be quicker to rewire the contraption and call an ambulance with it.
