Note 'This is a fashionable mask, not a medical mask'.

Cheap at the price, though!

Geoengineering has been taking place, after all. Inadvertently, of course.

'The natural experiment created by the IMO rules is providing a rare opportunity for climate scientists to study a geoengineering scheme in action—although it is one that is working in the wrong direction. Indeed, one such strategy to slow global warming, called marine cloud brightening, would see ships inject salt particles back into the air, to make clouds more reflective.'

Dr Simon Goddek on the benefits of Vitamin D, and associated vitamins and minerals.

It would be reasonable to assume his information is close to the mark, because he has been banned from Twitter for posting it there previously!

Iain Davis on a selection of the gigantic whoppers told by those selling the climate hysteria.

This is very good on detail, and I should imagine a useful reference during the many occasions upon which we are required to deflate the narrative.

On the off chance that you have not (yet) read Schedule 24 of the Finance Act 2021, this picture shows you how the 'penalty points' system works for late returns.

Apart from giving the distinct feeling that HMRC is now run by a school administrator, this is just another instance of nudging towards acceptance of a social credit system.

You may recall that HMRC have tried to make all VAT submissions 'digital' (which, in effect, has merely added a third-party agent completely needlessly).

Though very basic at the moment, these would appear to be the efforts of one government department in normalising a 'digital' framework which gives 'penalty points' and removes them for good behaviour.

Press release:
UK cements 10-year-partnership with Moderna in major boost for vaccines and research

The partnership with Moderna will see a new Innovation and Technology Centre in the UK, which will create more than 150 highly skilled jobs and have the capacity to produce up to 250 million vaccines per year in the event of a pandemic.

The deal is also a major boost for UK health research and will see the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) working with Moderna to ensure early vaccine development, supporting the G7 mission to get from variant to vaccine in 100 days.

The centre will offer NHS patients access to Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccines that can protect against multiple variants. It will also have the potential to develop vaccines targeting a range of other illnesses, such as flu and RSV, pending the usual process of the regulatory assessments and licencing.

Corporate report:
100DM: how the UK is contributing to the global mission to develop pandemic-fighting tools within 100 days
Published: 7th August 2023

The UK government is continuing to strengthen its commitment to a One Health approach. A One Health approach is intended to recognise the interdependencies between humans, animals and the environment.

For example, the UK is leading innovation in pandemic surveillance. This includes scoping additional means to build surveillance including through a networked, integrated One Health surveillance capability across the 4 nations of the UK through a UKHSA-led National Biosurveillance Network (NBN) (2).

The data from the NBN will underpin the Cabinet Office’s Biothreats Radar, which will provide decision makers with a comprehensive picture of known and developing biological threats.

Action is being taken against the Department for Education by the Bad Law Project, over the way in which Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education is being devised and delivered in schools.

First, section 405 of the Education Act 1996; provision for a head teacher to assume greater control over the life of a child than that of its parents.

Then section 403, on the manner in which sex education should be dealt with. On the delivery to pupils:

(a) they learn the nature of marriage and its importance for family life and the bringing up of children, and

(b) they are protected from teaching and materials which are inappropriate having regard to the age and the religious and cultural background of the pupils concerned.

To what extent do you think the principles of section 403 are being adhered to, across the spectrum?
