There’s been a few who questioned this and want to know who I am talking about. I lost the comment and tried to reply, so I will just post it here. It does not have to be about anyone particularly because we are seeing this repeatedly. If the shoe fits, wear it. I speak vaguely because I believe people can think for themselves, or at least should. But I also see way too much believing of everything that is being told. My post is addressing the principle of it.

Mike Lindell, for example, told the nation that none of Utah’s votes counted. Why would he say this? Another comment was made that Deidre admitted votes were switching. No she didn’t. When people say outlandish comments like this, it makes election efforts, or anyone questioning, more difficult for those working on it. It makes it more difficult to be taken seriously. The government is laughing about this and I don’t blame them. It ruins Lindell’s own credibility. A more recent example is Biden when he claims anyone who voted for Trump is a threat to our nation. Again, it’s not honest. Even news outlets that we know and those we trust are falling into the trap of reporting just to get “a story” out there.

We have a responsibility to think through the information that is presented and make wise judgments about that information. And those with the opportunity to have a large platform have the responsibility to speak the truth if they want to be taken seriously.

You know what would truly be historic? Instead of breaking the law and sending people to Martha’s Vineyard like political pawns, we actually take control of our states and secure our own borders, regardless of a negligent and treasonous presidency.
It’s time people stop being yes-men and appealing to theatrics and start doing the jobs they were elected to do.

Changing children and youth…perhaps we need to change the culture. When women and men feed into the sexual culture, that’s what children learn. Do tell me why so many girls are sexually aggressive. Does it have to do with cultural role models selling sexual provocative messages? When Beyoncé is selling a message with her body and sexual posses, this is what children see. They accept this is what women do because that is what is revered. If there is nothing more noble to look up to, they will accept this as both normal and appropriate. We need women to show a better way. We need strong women and voices to inspire girls with a feminine strength that does not degrade men and women.

Donald Trump junior had an Instagram with a head of Trump on a cartoon body and women twerking. People in droves “loved it” because…why? Sex is the thing to sell? It’s the trend? Does this lift Trump up? Is this the direction we want our culture to go? Is this how we tell children a former President or possibly a future candidate should behave because our children will follow suit. I certainly left a scathing message to it and I seemed to be the only one who disapproved.

It’s degrading. It’s inappropriate and furthermore disgusting. There’s nothing inspiring or noble to look up to with this. Until we stand for something, we will not raise children who know what to rise to. They will settle for this garbage and model the behaviors they have learned. We will continue to see the deterioration of a strong culture.
