First off-
Thank you to everyone who showed up this week for HB371.

I hope you are all taking well earned victory lap after the hearing (despite the outcome).

Between 10/20, and 2/23...just 18 short weeks..the power of the people  in Utah  caused a huge narrative shift in that hearing room.

We started out in October with a constant barrage of dismissive talk from all establishment sides and the media about the "gold standard elections " in Utah and "we are above reproach" scoldings. Did you notice what was missing duringHB371? During the biggest election securing bill of the session?
Instead, there was lots of softened tone and language about how "no system is perfect " and how  "a few errors will always happen".

They threw everything at this bill to stop it, including putting out the call from their side to come to the hearing. Did you notice the turnout? The people of Utah DWARFED the lobbyists in volume and spirit.

What Wednesday showed us is their "stronghold" is an illusion. We the people are gathering steam- so where do we aim that motivation now? By showing up for March 8th..Caucus day.

The people of Utah need to FLOOD our delegate seats and the general public show up to vote March 8th at caucus!

Did you know over the next few weeks, delegates are where non-signature gathering candidates must pass through and find support because it can be decided THERE who gets to run in the primary? They can temporarily keep their unsecured elections...We the People can bypass that system entirely to influence removing every person who cast a No vote against election security we have witnessed in Utah since 2020. As you may know, Mike Brown was detained at the Capitol. This is unbelievable and quickly becoming totalitarian. Mike and I joined a lawsuit against the school district together. I suspect he’s being targeted. Here is the video and his statement

Hey guys, I'm still recovering. It was very traumatic. I wasn't arrested, but they cuffed me and dragged me away. They held me for an hour and gave me a citation to not enter the Senate building just for today. I should have mentioned that I was charged with disrupting a meeting, a Class B misdemeanor. Code 76-9-103
...even though I complied by surrendering my sticker within the 5 minute recess window the chair gave specifically for that purpose.
