Toward Orikhiv, the situation is becoming increasingly critical for the Ukrainian side due to massive Russian infiltrations to the west, south, east, and now also north of Orikhiv. Geolocated footage also confirms the fighting in Stepnohirsk, which is being waged between the two sides in the city center.
Toward Dobropilia, the Russian Ministry of Defense reports the capture of the village of Zolotyi Kolidiaz, which, due to its strategic location, enables the Russian side to carry out further infiltrations toward Dobropilia. North of Kostiantynivka, Russian forces have raised two flags in the village of Viroliubivka and reported its capture.
Additionally, more Ukrainian locomotives have been hit by Russian airstrikes. By now, one-third of Ukraineโs locomotives are reportedly damaged or destroyed. Replacements from the West are proving difficult to obtain due to differences in rail gauges, as Soviet-era tracks differ from European ones.
