❌ Task Visibility in Projects
Responding to your feedback, we've enhanced settings so now all users automatically have visibility into all tasks within collaborative projects. Previously, only admins had this view, but now it's accessible to every team member. If you prefer not to see all tasks, you can easily disable it in settings.

🖼 Ability to Change Avatar in Personal Projects
A small yet delightful addition. Now you can personalize your own projects through project settings.

➡ Notifications for Inline Tasks
In our last release, we introduced the ability to assign tasks directly to any Telegram user without creating a group. With this update, we've added notifications for these tasks and included standard settings to manage them.

🔄 "Refresh Project Members List" Button
A handy new feature for collaborative projects: if the project members list doesn't update automatically, you can now manually refresh it and add any missing team members.

Simple Tip

Hey, friends!

A few updates back, we added a neat feature but forgot to mention it to you - our bad!🤗

On the main screen of our app, you'll find sections like:
🔘ALL
🔘INBOX
🔘TODAY
🔘TOMORROW
🔘NEXT 7 DAYS
🔘COMPLETED

Now, you can customize which sections appear on your main screen and which ones don't.

Simply go to Settings ➡️ Display Settings ➡️ Display Dynamic Sections. You can disable everything except "Inbox."

⭐️PURCHASE TEAM SUBSCRIPTION OR GIFT IT

Hello everyone!
Just two weeks have passed, and we've already prepared our latest release🤗

The highlight of this update is the new option to buy subscriptions directly for your team or as gifts.

To do this, simply go to the subscription page, select the number of licenses you need, and complete the payment.

Once your payment is processed, the bot will send gift certificates for each purchased license. Each certificate includes a unique activation link. All you need to do is share these certificates with your friends or colleagues so they can activate and start using the app.

You can only buy an annual subscription for a team or as a gift. Discounts are available when purchasing 2 or more licenses at once.

Here's the breakdown of discounts based on the number of licenses:

1 → 750⭐️ (standard price for 1 year)
2-4 → 725⭐️
5-8 → 675 ⭐️
9-12 → 615⭐️
13-19 → 550⭐️
20-30 → 525⭐️
31 and more → 500⭐️

For example, if you buy 10 licenses, instead of paying 7500 stars, you'll only pay 6150, saving nearly the cost of 2 annual subscriptions.

Hey everyone!
By popular request, we’ve reintroduced the command for creating tasks directly in group chats. Now you can set tasks without even opening the app - just type it out from the chat!

This feature is available exclusively for PRO users.

Command format:

/new Task Name @assignee //Due Date !!Deadline
Description

Task Name: The name of the task
@assignee: The person responsible
//Date: Expected completion date
!!Deadline: Final deadline
Description: Task details (starting on a new line)

Examples:
/new Create a presentation

/new Prepare a report @Denis //12.11.24

📄 PROJECT AREAS

Hey everyone!

We’ve been getting a lot of requests for the bot to work in groups with topics. We gave it our best shot, but unfortunately, we couldn't crack it.

It’s one of those rare situations where Telegram’s API just doesn’t provide enough functionality. When the bot is added to a group with topics, we can’t access the list of existing topics. We spent a week trying different solutions, but no luck. However, we did manage to make something else work!

⚡️ We’ve expanded the functionality of Areas!

Until now, Areas were essentially folders for projects, allowing you to group multiple projects under one name and collapse them together. Super handy when you’ve got lots of projects on the same theme.

With this update, Areas have become more than just folders - they’re now global projects containing other projects as subprojects.

📦 Just click on the name of the Area, and you’ll enter a new view where the Area itself is treated like a project, and the included projects become subprojects!

You asked for subproject functionality, and here it is - just in a slightly different form. Instead of adding subprojects directly to projects, we’ve turned existing projects into subprojects within Areas.

We hope that makes sense! 😂

As always, it’s better to try it out yourself than to just read about it. Create an Area, add your projects, and check it out in action!

🗂 CHECKLISTS AND FINALIZED CALENDAR

Hey friends!

We’ve just released a quick patch with two key updates:

1️⃣ Checklists in Tasks.

You can now create checklists right within your tasks.
No more forgetting what’s needed - just click the three-bar icon in the task body to start organizing!

2️⃣ Improved Calendar.

We’ve made the 'Accept' and 'Cancel' buttons always visible, so no more scrolling to save your dates. Everything’s now in view and ready to go!

We’ve received this question several times, phrased in different ways:

HOW DO I LAUNCH UTASKS?

So, we decided to cover it in this post ⬇ and added it to our FAQ in the documentation.

1⃣In the bot chat simply tap TASKS at the bottom left. This will take you to the main page of the mini-application.

2⃣Open any chat room with a bot and click TASKS. You’ll see the task list for that specific project. Press BACK to return to the app’s main page.

3⃣Tap on a task in any notification. You’ll go straight to the specific task. Press BACK to view the task list, then press BACK again to reach the main page.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask—we’re happy to provide quick, clear answers!

✔️Great news - UTasks documentation is now ready!

As we were writing it, we finally figured out how everything works ourselves, and now we’re eager to share it with you.

Think of it as a perfect melodrama: straightforward and to the point. There’s a task, there’s an executor, and the question remains - will they find happiness before the deadline?

For now, it’s available in Russian, so feel free to take a look and let us know what could be improved. We’ll definitely consider your feedback when preparing the English version.
