🟡 We've noticed some unusual behavior in the app. While we're looking into it, we want to give you a heads-up about potential issues that might affect some users when working with UTasks!

🔘 UTasks fails to detect project users who are set as Administrators in the group settings (on which the project is based) and have enabled "Remain anonymous" (posting on behalf of the group). By doing so, they remain hidden from both group members and our application.

As a result, these users won’t be able to access the project - UTasks can’t recognize them or load the task list!

Possible solutions:
1⃣ Turn off the Administrator Anonymity setting in the group.
2⃣ Grant UTasks full admin rights in the group.

How I can assignee tasks directly to any telegram user without creating a group?

🏹 Yes, yes, there are inline tasks in UTasks, assigned to any other user without creating a group project.

🔐 In this case, until the user accepts the task, the assignee remains unspecified.

🎫 A fitting analogy for this mechanism is a bearer check at a bank-anyone holding it can cash it.

Potential Bug When Editing Tasks

🚨 Hey everyone! We've received several reports that changes made in the full task card (e.g., when updating the description) may fail to save.

The issue is intermittent, occurs very rarely, and is not platform-specific. So far, we haven't been able to replicate it in our test environments. #SORRY

By default, you have one personal project "Inbox", but you can create more! Use them for shopping reminders, documents, doctor’s appointments, gym sessions (going is optional, but signing up is a must!), or even financial literacy courses.

LANGUAGE SETTINGS

Hey friends!

In today’s #FAQ, we’re diving into the details of language settings and answering a few of the most common questions we get in support.

✅ UTasks currently supports four languages: Russian, English, Spanish, and Farsi.

1⃣ First, you can choose the language of the app interface.
Love reading your task lists in Spanish? ¡No hay problema!

To set your app language, go to: Profile → Settings → Language

2⃣ Second, you can set a separate notification language for each group project.
This controls the language your bot uses when sending task updates and deadline reminders in the group chat connected to the project.

To set this up, go to:

Project → Gear icon → Settings → Notification Language

This is especially handy if you run your business in English but have a shared project importing pistachios with partners in Iran — who only know the word “deadline” in English. 😄
