Sejajar dengan pengumuman YAB Perdana Menteri dalam Ucapan Belanjawan 2024 pada 13 Oktober 2023 berkaitan penyaluran bantuan tunai, Kerajaan Perpaduan akan meneruskan pelaksanaan inisiatif bantuan subsidi pembelian tiket penerbangan untuk pelajar universiti awam, politeknik dan kolej komuniti di bawah Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi (KPT) serta kolej matrikulasi dan institut pendidikan guru (IPG) di bawah Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM) bagi laluan domestik antara Semenanjung, Sabah, Sarawak dan Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan (FLYsiswa).

Justeru itu, Kementerian Pengangkutan ingin memaklumkan bahawa inisiatif ini akan disambung semula bermula pada 2 Mei 2024.
