NSA purchases Americans' internet browsing data without warrants, senator's documents show

In a letter to Wyden, NSA director Paul Nakasone provided newly unclassified documents revealing that the agency buys Americans' data, including information about the websites they visit and the apps they use. The letter, dated Dec. 11, was made public on Thursday.

"The U.S. government should not be funding and legitimizing a shady industry whose flagrant violations of Americans’ privacy are not just unethical, but illegal," Wyden wrote to Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines on Thursday.

BREAKING: Illinois' election board on Tuesday overruled an objection to President Donald Trump's eligibility to be on the state's primary ballot.

The unanimous vote by the Illinois State Board of Elections, which is split evenly between Republicans and Democrats, comes after a recommendation that Trump be removed for inciting an insurrection. The board voted 8-0 that it did not have jurisdiction to determine whether Trump is constitutionally ineligible to appear on the ballot, reserving that power for the courts.

President Donald Trump’s March 4 trial date on charges of plotting to overturn the results of the 2020 election has been dropped from the public calendar of the federal court in Washington, a sign of what has long been anticipated — that his claim of presidential immunity from criminal prosecution would delay his trial while it remains on appeal.

As of at least Thursday, the March 4 trial date was dropped from a date-searchable calendar on the public website of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. It was not immediately clear when it was removed. An internal master court trial calendar distributed Jan. 26 showed Trump’s trial date, suggesting the change was recent, according to a federal official who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss an internal document.

Chutkan also has acknowledged that Trump’s March trial was off. On Jan. 24, for example, Chutkan scheduled a new trial for April 2, when Trump’s projected six- to eight-week trial would have been ongoing. This Wednesday, Chutkan set a March 18 hearing for another defendant, saying, “I suspect in March I will not be in trial.”

Holy smokes. Suspicions confirmed.

Former Pharma insider tells Tucker Carlson that the true goal of pharma ads on TV is not to sell drugs but to BUY OFF the news media.

This is described as an "open secret" within the pharmaceutical industry.

TUCKER: You're saying that pharma buys TV spots not to convince people to ask for specific drugs from their physicians, but to subvert the news business?

CALLEY MEANS: This is an open secret working for pharma. This is an open secret. The kind of silly ads you see between the news breaks, the points of that is not — it's largely to impact the customer. But the pharma has already got that. They've already bought off the doctors. They're good on that.

No, this is an open secret. The news ad spending from pharma is a public relations lobbying tactic, essentially to buy off the news. They're not investigating pharma. The news has become basically a referee. That you are a terrible anti-science luddite for asking why the shots that we require our kids to get, that fundamentally by their own advertising change the immune system of that child for life...

To even ask that question, the news referees that and calls you anti-science. When the two largest vaccine makers in the country are literally criminal enterprises, GlaxoSmithKline and Merck, in the past five years, have settled two of the largest criminal penalties in American corporate history for bribing doctors and creating misleading research for the two largest vaccine makers. So you literally have the media playing referee that you can't even ask a question.

TUCKER: If you have a vaccine injury and many people have, including some I know very well, even a profound vaccine injury, you're not allowed to complain about it.

CALLEY MEANS: No, you're "anti-science."

TUCKER: Even if it can be shown to us that this is a vaccine injury?

CALLEY MEANS: The media plays referee because they're funded by so, on all levels.

TUCKER: This is very dark, Calley Means.

The White House criticized House Republicans on Saturday for unveiling a $17.6 billion bill that would provide additional aid to Israel amid its ongoing war in the Middle East, calling it a “cynical political maneuver.”

The administration specifically criticized the bill, which Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) said the House would vote on next week, disparaging GOP lawmakers for singling out aid for only one U.S. ally — as the Senate negotiates on the bipartisan border and aid package.

Rep. Matt Gaetz: "We are here today to authoritatively express that President Trump did not commit an insurrection, and we believe Congress has a unique role in making that declaration... The very experts who often get on television and talk about securing democracy seem to be the first to want to then remove a candidate from the ballot because they are afraid he is too popular."
