1. Bank run can be seen in the economic crisis of the 1930s. When America's stock market crashed, depositers believed rumours of a financial crisis and started withdrawing money from banks.
2. To avoid Bank Runs, the government can take several measures, such as:

β«οΈImplementing oversight and regulation
β«οΈDeposit insurance schemes
β«οΈBaling out of banks
