🧨 ||Lagrange Points||: Named after Italian-French mathematician J.L. Lagrange, are positions in space where the gravitational forces of a two-body system (like the Sun and the Earth) produce enhanced regions of attraction and repulsion.

👉 Do you Know: The L1 point is home to India's "Aditya-L1"& "Solar & Heliospheric Observatory Satellite" (SOHO), an international collaboration project of NASA &  European Space Agency (ESA).

👉 Justice Uday Umesh Lalit took oath as "The 49th Chief Justice of India" at Rashtrapati Bhavan in the presence of President Droupadi Murmu on August 27.

👉 He will have a relatively short tenure of over 3 months.

👉 He will also only be the 2nd CJI to have been appointed directly from the Bar without serving as a judge of a high court.

🧨 Do you know: Justice S M Sikri, who became the 13th CJI in January 1971, was the first lawyer to be elevated directly to the top court bench in March 1964.

✅The Union government has revived up its interest in using Iran’s Chabahar port to connect to Afghanistan & Central Asia for trade

▪️ Significance for India?

✅The port gives access to the energy-rich Persian Gulf nations’ southern coast.

✅The first & foremost significance of the Chabahar port is the fact that India can bypass Pakistan in transporting goods to Afghanistan.

It will boost India’s access to Iran, the key gateway to the International North-South Transport Corridor that has sea, rail & road routes between India, Russia, Iran, Europe & Central Asia.

World Wide Web, which is also known as a Web, is a collection of websites or web pages stored in web servers & connected to local computers through the internet.

👉Web 3.0 is a decentralized internet to be run on blockchain technology, which would be different from the versions in use, Web 1.0 & Web 2.0.

👉In Web3, users will have ownership stakes in platforms and applications unlike now where tech giants control the platforms.

🧨Note: A very important topic, as Web 3.0 forms the backbone of Blockchain & thus that of Bitcoin!!!
