[ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ‘SUSPENDED’ STUDY STATUS]
 
Dear Postgraduate Students,
 
Kindly check your study status, if your study status is ‘Suspended’ it might be one of the following reasons:
 
(i) Fail the PIE 2 twice.  You are allowed to repeat the PIE 2 in the following semester but you will be barred from registering any other course. If you pass the PIE 2, you will be allowed to continue your study but if you fail, your candidature shall be terminated;
 
(ii) Fails to submit an academic certificate after the first year of study. Failure to do so will result in termination in the following semester;
 
(iii) Does not complete and pass the Research Proposal Seminar (SPS5903/SPS6903) after the second semester of study, failure to do so will result in termination in the following semester;
 
(iv) Has not nominated a Supervisory Committee by the second semester of study, failure to do so will result in termination in the following semester;
 
(v) Does not complete and pass the Research Method before the third semester of study, failure to do so will result in termination in the following semester;
 
(vi) Fail twice the prerequisite course for programme of studies. If you pass the prerequisite course, you will be allowed to continue your study but if you fail, your candidature shall be terminated in the following semester;
 
Therefore, kindly take necessary action for alteration of your study status from ‘Suspended’ to ‘Continue’ (if related) and to avoid any unnecessary circumstances.

Please be reminded that the last date for the Progress Report (GS-11) submission for the Second Semester 2023/2024 is on 8th July 2024.
Also, the School of Graduate Studies will no longer provide any hardcopy of GS-11.

The submission of GS-11 can be made via student portal at http://sgsportal.upm.edu.my:8080/sgsportal/. Failure to do so will result in ‘TM’ for SPS5999/SPS6999.

We are pleased to forward an announcement from IPB University's Department of Nutrition and Feed Technology for the Summer Course on "Tropical Animal Nutrition and Feed Technology" on 15-25 July 2024.

The course aims to enhance basic knowledge of feed formulation programs and promote students' interest in nutrient and feed technology in the tropics. For the offline program, IPB University offers excursions to a community farm and Indonesian heritage. More details are available on the poster below.

*URGENT CALL FOR PARTICIPATION: CLSU-UC-SEARCA International Summer Short-term Program (ISSP) on Agricultural Productivity and Sustainability*

Dear students,

We are pleased to forward the call for participation to the CLSU-UC-SEARCA International Summer Short-term Program (ISSP) on Agricultural Productivity and Sustainability, which will be held on 21 July to 03 August 2024 at the Central Luzon State University, Philippines. More details are provided in the attached file.

Those interested must fill out the online form (please see the attached letter for the link) on or before *5 July 2024*. CLSU will provide food, accommodation, and local transportation for the participants, while University Consortium (UC) may provide travel grants (e.g. air fare) to selected participants. The nominees will compete for the limited number of travel grants.

Tawaran penajaan Program MyBrain 2.0 kini dibuka mulai 1 Ogos 2024.
Program ini dibuka kepada orang awam tidak bekerja atau tidak berpendapatan tetap dan pensyarah-pensyarah Institust Pendidikan Tinggi Swasta terpilih untuk melanjutkan pengajian di peringkat Ijazah Sarjana dan ljazah Kedoktoran di Universiti Awam dalam negara bagi sesi akademik 2024/2025.

Bidang pengajian:

1. Keutamaan dalam Sains, Teknologi,
2. Kejuruteraan dan Matematik
3. Sains Sosial dan Sastera Ikhtisas

Penajaan ini diberikan kepada mereka yang telah menerima surat tawaran penuh / tanpa syarat daripada
