Бо форма не відповідає змісту.

Критикуєш — пропонуй, як то кажуть.

2️⃣ Запитати про апдейт чи статус

• How are things progressing on your side?
• Is there an estimated timeframe for when we might hear back?

3️⃣ Фоловапнути за допомогою вводних фраз:
• Circling back to see if you’ve had a chance to take a look at this.

Якщо ви відновлюєте переписку після свят, чи доречно почати її з Happy New Year?

Це залежить від
1. Часу: якщо ви пишете в перші дні січня, це звучатиме природно; якщо ж пізніше — привітання може здатися запізнілим і вже недоречним.
2. На чому ви зупинились: якщо ваша переписка закінчилась на тому, що ви побажали одне одному веселих свят, вітати через пару днів знов може бути дещо too much.
3. Культурно-релігійного аспекту: враховуйте чи є Новий рік актуальним святом для співрозмовників, чи збігається у вас період святкування (наприклад, з Китаєм ми дещо в розсихнроні).

Все це можна оформити у вигляді міні-decision tree:

1️⃣ Скільки часу минуло після Нового року?
👉 Небагато → переходьте до п.2
👉 Багато → краще використати нейтральну фразу, без прив’язки до свят:

Термін kudos, ймовірно, більш розповсюджений в айті, але означає актуальне для будь-якої сфери поняття — подякувати та відзначити та (здебільшого публічно) чиюсь роботу чи внесок. Коли ви пишете "Чудова робота!" — оце воно і є)
Якщо вам дивне це слово, то це з давньогрецької 🙂

📍Вирази зі словом "kudos":
• to give/get kudos — давати або отримати кудоси (подяку)
• to earn kudos — заслужити на кудоси
• strong/huge/special/big kudos to [name] for [doing amazing job on]... — приклад того, як можна сформулювати кудоси.
• Huge thanks to.../Great work on... / Huge shoutout to.../ Thank you for... — альтернативні способи сформулювати подяку.

☝️Як написати гарні кудоси?
1. Додайте конкретику: сформулюйте, що саме було зроблено: в чому полягав челендж чи задача, яку цінність це принесло.

2. Фокус на дію, а не на людину: замість умовних rockstar, genious, talented тощо, краще відзначити, що саме людина чи команда зробила.

3. Keep it short: 1-2 речення буде достатньо, це не має бути хвалєбна ода.

4. Замість епітетів та оціночних суджень — конкретика (див. п1).
Але насправді, не хочеться надто демонізувати епітети. Хай у ваших кудосах будуть епітети — аби це буде щиро і від душі.

Бо написати будь-який кудос — це вже 90% успіху. Ми часто недооцінюємо їх важливість або забуваємо це робити у вихорі справ. Відзначайте чиюсь great job, дякуйте, давайте фідбек.
