THE ONLY TRIBE

Israel was divided into 12 tribes, each had its responsibility and function, and by fulfilling their duties within this formation, all would receive their portion in the promised land.

But there was a different tribe, one that wouldn't inherit anything here, wouldn't have the rights of the others, wouldn't have possessions, wouldn't have land. Separated by God Himself, this tribe would receive more than all, spiritually, not physically. The other tribes would have something earthly, but this one would have the most valuable, the celestial!

That tribe was Levi, the tribe of servants, priests, those who were chosen by the Most High Himself to fulfill the greatest and most important mission on Earth: TO SERVE GOD ONLY!

They alone would have the right and privilege to be serving daily in sacred services.

“And the LORD said unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, and thou shalt have no portion among them. I am your portion and your inheritance among the children of Israel.” Numbers 18.20

“The priests will have ONE inheritance; I am your heritage. You shall not give them possession in Israel; I am your possession.” Ezekiel 44.28

In that is our glory!

Those who are always thinking or worried about “their future” is because, deep down, they are not part of this tribe, they are in the wrong place, they are fish out of water. But we who are from this tribe have nothing to worry about, as we have our future guaranteed: HE IS OUR HERITAGE AND OUR POSSESSION! IT IS THE GUARANTEE!

Given this, what do we most lack or can cause us concern? In fact, we already have THE ALL and THE BEST: OUR FUTURE IS ALREADY GUARANTEED, if we stay within this vision of faith until the end!

May the Most High God bless, multiply and strengthen even more and more this tribe chosen by Him to announce the good news of Salvation!

“At that same time, the LORD separated the tribe of Levi to carry the Ark of the LORD's Covenant, to stand before the LORD, to serve Him, and to bless in His Name to this day. That is why Levi has neither part nor inheritance with his brothers; the LORD is his inheritance, as the LORD your God has promised him.” Deuteronomy 10.8-9

Nothing compares to the privilege of being part of this tribe!!!
We are the most privileged of all beings.
Only we, those of this tribe, were chosen to stand before Him, serve Him, take His Ark and bless in His Name!!!

WHAT IF GOD SAYS NO?

If you follow the Genesis, you may have noticed that even though the patriarchs were fearful and faithful men, they were not spared the difficulties.

How it must have hurt Abraham to separate from his son Ishmael and send him out of the house! How long it was to wait almost 25 years for Isaac's arrival!

Already Isaac was a tireless digger of wells, as he had his reservoirs filled by enemies. Furthermore, he suffered in the twilight of his life from unrelenting blindness.

Jacob, in turn, carried a list of pains. But I quote the one we saw recently, where he spent an entire night struggling with God. The patriarch had his thigh joint injured by the Angel of the Lord. A wound so painful that it probably caused him to have the aftermath of limping for the rest of his life.

It is important to understand that sometimes God will allow certain sufferings, because He has a greater purpose to accomplish, specifically, in that person's life.

How wonderful, the Almighty treats us in a particular and special way!

And, it is not because God can do anything that He will do anything to make our lives easier.
Parents understand this reality well. If they promptly comply with the child's every wish, instead of creating good citizens, they will create evil monsters that will harm themselves and others.

God in the same way. If He does everything we want and in the time we want, He will have spoiled, ungrateful, and worthless children.

Furthermore, our relationship with Him would be based only on receiving and not offering.

So, the Most High is God when he heals and when he allows the disease to continue.
He's still good when he gets rid of death and when he lets die.
There is a gracious face of kindness in all the things the Lord allows us to go through.

A leper once said to Jesus: "Lord, if you want, you can make me clean." Matthew 8.2

This man had the revelation that God will not always do all that He can do, because the Almighty acts through His will and His omniscience, not only according to His power. And his will is good, perfect, and pleasing, even though it is not pleasing to our flesh. Therefore, the human will antagonizes the divine will, because it is bad, imperfect and unpleasant.

Therefore, God does not exist to fulfill our dreams, like a genie from the lamp.
When we pay attention to his Word, we do seek to fulfill his promises, but, above all, we want to honor him with the confidence that we accept his sovereign will and his perfect care for us.

We accept that EVERYTHING that God allows us to pass works for the greater good, which is our salvation.
Therefore, I embrace the “nots” of God, for in them there are deliverances and blessings.
And can you live this dimension of faith?
