The National Commercial Bank (Kingston branch) is seeking two mature students for a paid internship. Graduates or final year part time students are preferred as opportunities may soon follow.
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, SQL and a willingness to learn quickly is a plus, however, training will be provided. If you are interested send your resume to smithak@jncb.com, with the subject Internship 2024 by January 31, 2024.

The Student Council along with the Alumni Association, Staff and Faculty of the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) is presenting an online Cultural Week from Monday 19th to Friday 23rd February 2024, Theme: Celebrating Our Heritage
There will be activities celebrating our Jamaican heritage and culture across all campuses.
The culture week activities are a kick-start towards UCC Sports and Wellness Day. So, get into that creative and competitive spirit and let the show begin!!!
Please use the 👉🏻 link 👈🏻 to upload your videos featuring traditional Jamaican music, dance performances, and cuisine.
Kingston students can join us at the UCC Worthington Campus in room 6 from 10am to 2pm on Friday, February 23rd to view the exhibits and enjoy live karaoke from UCC staff, support the alumni association by having a bite from their pudding and Toto bake sale.
Results of the cultural week will conclude on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 1p.m.

In order to complete arrangements to facilitate end-of-semester timed examinations at our Campuses, ALL students are being asked to indicate where they will complete their Spring timed examinations.
Local Students ONLY: Complete the Examination Location Registration Form here by March 8, 2024 @ 11:59 pm : https://forms.gle/a9Kt2Fe33Chf1d4SA
Overseas Students ONLY: Complete this Examination Verification Form anytime before your EOSA : https://forms.gle/Nqa6tTi5BP1rgeeX9
Please note below the following before filling out the form(s):
- Each student MUST complete the Location Registration Form. Complete a separate form for each course for which you have a timed examination in April 2024.
- Spring 2024 End of Semester Assessment (EOSA) period - April 17 - 30, 2024
- Students who are registered in Aeorion with Jamaican addresses are required to do their exams face to face. If there is an extenuating circumstance, the student is required to submit an alternative examination for Summer 2024. ONLY students in Caribbean, International and Jamaicans Overseas can request proctored assessments. No exceptions.
- No payment should be made until approval is granted.
- Students who are resident overseas, should ensure their records are updated with the Registry using the appropriate form and proof of residency.
- There are no examination facilities at Savanna La Mar.
- ALL students sit a common (the same) End of Semester Assessment per course. Therefore, regardless of the scheduled time of your classes, please be prepared to complete your End of Semester Assessments as scheduled, which may be administered between Sundays through Fridays between 9 am - 8 pm Jamaica time.
- PLEASE SUBMIT A SEPARATE FORM FOR EACH COURSE THAT YOU ARE REGISTERED FOR, WHICH HAS A TIMED END-OF-SEMESTER ASSESSMENT (EOSA). For example: If you are registered for three courses, but only two (2) of them carry a timed end-of-semester assessment, you will only need to complete the form twice, indicating the preferences for each course.
