LENT IS THE SPRING OF THE SOUL AND THE TIME OF VICTORIES

Lent begins today. The most important period of the year for all of us Orthodox people. A time when, contrary to popular cliches, it is not necessary to make "lean" dull faces. On the contrary, since ancient times it has been called "the spring of the soul" and even "cheerful". Since Lent is the ideal time for the penitential cleansing of our souls from accumulated sins, and therefore for our salvation.

During Lent, spiritual warfare is always especially evident. The way, in the words of Fyodor Dostoevsky, "the devil fights with God, and the battlefield is the hearts of people." Now this battle with the enemies of our Orthodox faith is taking place not only in our hearts, but also on the real battlefield – in Donbass and Novorossiya. And this means that Lenten time should be the time of our victories both over ourselves and over the external enemy.

⭕️ А вот ближе всего мы к мифу. К сновидениям. Это врата в другие миры. В сновидениях можно ненадолго сломать барьер сознания, оказавшись в другом мире. Сон - это такое междумирье, в котором мы сходимся на диалог с другими мирами.

⭕️ Человек не властен над своим материальным миром. Он может его только измерить и систематизировать. Поэтому сон и мечта - это могущество.
