STRATEGY OF THE RUSSIAN BABY BOOM: "VRNS" FORUM IN NOVOSIBIRSK

The sixth All-Russian Forum of the World Russian People's Council this year was held in Novosibirsk. Topic: “Spatial development and demography in Russia.” Among the key organizers and participants is the Ministry of Construction, represented by Deputy Minister Nikita Stasishin. And representatives of the regions, including the governors of the Novosibirsk and Kurgan regions Andrei Travnikov and Vadim Shumkov.

Today in Novosibirsk the first concrete proposals for a new spatial development strategy were announced. The region has already become the first in creating a Council under the governor for the preservation and strengthening of traditional spiritual and moral values. And it will become a pilot at the beginning of the resettlement of megacities to the suburbs. We agreed on this with Andrei Travnikov. Soon the details of our joint project, which is currently being worked out, will be made public.

- land plots – located a maximum of 20-30 km from the city;
- garden plots are needed near houses;
- lot size for a single-family house – about 30 acres;
- average house area – 150-210 sq.m (at least 30 sq.m per person);
- residential buildings being built should not be inferior to modern city economy-class apartments.

“We live in a new country, and after the Victory we will live in a country different from the one that existed before the start of our global break with the West. And therefore we must rely on our own strengths, build our own country,” Malofeev concluded.
