I see some Canadians celebrating that Pierre Poilievre won the Conservative Party leadership tonight. Not good! This cements the death of a viable right wing political faction rising to prominence in Canada. Another Trudeau term would be better for Canadians long term. Pierre Poilievre wants more immigration than Trudeau. He’s not your Canadian savior. He has said REPEATEDLY that he wants more immigration. More “temporary” foreign workers with a pathway to permanent residency (so not really temporary eh), more family reunification, and a fast track for “high skilled” immigrant workers. THIS IS NOT CONSERVATIVE. I don’t know how I can make it any more clear for some of you leafs clinging onto impetuous hope for the revival of Canadian nationalism. Rest In Peace Alex Foppoli. I didn’t interact much with him, however I believe we were mutuals on Gab.

He was a bright face in the movement and a strong American patriot. He ran for office unsuccessfully, however his loss didn’t stop his charisma or drive to see change in this country. We need more people like Alex in this movement if we are to succeed and his untimely death is extremely sad.
