A blue flag signifying independence waved in front of Police
Amidst heavy presence of police, a citizen in black T-shirt pompously flew a blue East Turkestan flag just 20 meters away from a police officer who also raised up a “blue flag” that read "disperse or we fire".
The East Turkestan flag was endorsed by the Government of the Islamic Republic of East Turkestan in November 1933. The flag prevailed the CCP takeover of Xinjiang and has then become a symbol of East Turkestan independence.
