「賢學思政」後來在專頁轉發警方的澄清貼文，指當日旺角警署內有「數名不明人士」自稱為「國安人員」，令他們誤以為是「國安公署人員」。組織希望警方國安處人員日後可更清晰表達身份，而非簡稱「國安人員」。
