Solution:
Ensure the latest AutoCAD updates are installed and that the graphics card and driver version are certified:

Install the latest update for AutoCAD (see Where to get Product Updates, Add-ons, and Enhancements).
Update the graphics drive to a certified version or to the latest available version on the manufacturer's website (NVIDIA, AMD, etc.).

Note: If images only temporarily disappear when panning, on the command line in AutoCAD, type RTDISPLAY and set the value to 0 (zero).

Launch the Setup.exe using the switch --noupdate to enable the offline mode installation

Go to Windows Start button.
Type cmd to open Command prompt and run it as administrator.
Type the following and press ENTER.

cd C:\Autodesk\Autodesk_3ds_Max_2021_EFGJKPS_Win_64bit

Note. The path above can be different -according to the software you are trying to install- check first the exact path in C:\Autodesk.
