- Two main reasons are the dispersion of second-layer networks (Stablecoin BTC) and the monitoring of addresses by agencies specializing in data collection for government surveillance purposes.
- In the first, Institutionals are creating parallel networks for their customers (A way of printing BTC until it is redeemed by the customer via the OnChain Network).
- In the second, as the btc onchain network is pseudo-anonymous, the addresses are public. Therefore, hodlers only use to swap above 0.01 BTC or 1 million sats, definitively, for a new long-term onchain address, while using second layer networks (StableCoin BTC) for fast services and/or accumulating sats in small amounts.
- Both cases are characteristics of the BTC market. The knowledge of having possession of True BTC is a subject suppressed by economic agents to "deceive" their customers, favor speculation and use only by permission (KYC).
