🐳Whales are not as eager for BTC as in 2021 and 2022, as shown by the Volume of Large On-Chain Transactions (>$100k USD).

In the 2017 cycle, an average of $30 billion USD in BTC was moved, peaking at $30 billion USD. By 2021, the average volume rose to $100 billion USD, and in 2022, it jumped to an incredible $250 billion USD. Notably, the highest volume was on November 15, 2021, near the all-time high, with $739 billion USD.

In 2024, volumes are around $50 billion USD, with a peak of $116 billion USD in March, at the all-time high.

This recent volume may lead to two conclusions: that large players were less active between 2023 and 2024, or it may be too early to compare with previous cycles, with a potential increase in demand until late 2025. Either way, the reduced BTC movement may impact future volatility and altcoin performance.
