I cannot, and I will not, conform to watching our country move toward a time of instability, insecurity and discouragement.
I will not stand idly by while I watch families’ hope being extinguished and our democracy collapsing.

Our country is living through difficult days, in which many feel abandoned, retirees are being robbed by the government itself, narco-terrorists dominate cities and exploit workers, state-owned companies have once again been looted, new taxes never stop being created or increased, our children have no prospects for the future. No one can take it anymore!

But I believe in a God who does not abandon our nation.
I believe that He raises people up and begins new times when the people cry out for justice.
I believe that no captivity is greater than God’s power to set free.

I place myself before God and before Brazil to fulfill this mission.
And I know that He will go ahead, opening doors, knocking down walls, and guiding every step of this journey.
