I am heartbroken.

Charlie Kirk’s assassination has shaken me deeply. It feels almost unbearable that such light, such courage, and such devotion to God and country should be extinguished in this way.

I am sharing here a video of his wife introducing him at a conference. She is radiant, beautiful and full of love. Her eyes shining with pride for the man she adored. To see this now, knowing what has happened, is devastating beyond words.

Charlie was more than a political figure. He was a fighter for free speech, a defender of freedom, a man who lived with courage and conviction, grounded always in his faith. He loved his family, his faith, and his country, and he carried that love openly, never apologizing for wanting to do God’s work in a broken world.

We must mourn his loss, but we must also celebrate his life. We must honor his fight by refusing to let his death be in vain. He showed us what it means to stand boldly in truth, to speak when others remain silent, and to walk with Jesus even in the face of danger.

The world may have taken Charlie Kirk’s body, but it cannot take his spirit. That will live on in his family, in his movement and in all of us who are determined to keep standing for freedom, for truth, and for God.
