🇧🇷🤡🤝🇻🇪🇻🇪 — ⚠️ #BREAKING The website Defesa Net, specialized in military affairs and with huge influence in military circles, brought to light a report stating that within the backstage of Brazil’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Itamaraty), circulated OPERATION IMERI: The designation, inspired by the mountain range that separates Brazil and Venezuela, had the objective of rescuing Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro

⁉️ The operation was conceived in reaction to the U.S. crackdown on narco-terrorism in Latin America. In August 2025, President Donald Trump sent three destroyers and about 4,000 troops to the Caribbean, aiming to combat the Cartel de los Soles. Maduro was classified as a narco-terrorist, with a $50 million bounty for his capture, due to his ties with the Sinaloa cartel and the Tren de Aragua.

💥 The siege triggered reactions in Caracas. Maduro mobilized militias, activated air defense systems, and ordered contingency plans for the Venezuelan Armed Forces. Interior Minister Remigio Ceballos Ichaso reinforced the discourse of resistance against “imperialism.”

🇨🇴 Operation Imeri foresaw the selective evacuation of Nicolás Maduro and members of his inner circle. Discussions took place between Chancellor Mauro Vieira and Venezuela’s Yván Gil in Bogotá, during the OTCA/CELAC summit, officially about border cooperation and economic integration.

➡️ The plan had two branches:

🇧🇷 Maritime: mobilization of twelve naval assets of the Brazilian Navy, including the Helicopter Carrier Atlântico, Niterói-class frigates, and the dock ship Bahia. Special Operations of the Marine Corps Special Operations Battalion (BtlOpEspFuzNav) and the Combat Divers Group (GruMeC) would be used to create an evacuation corridor. The operation would be presented as “training and deterrent presence,” circumventing legislative authorization.

🇧🇷 Airborne: infiltration of a KC-390 Millennium of the Brazilian Air Force, with a combined detachment of Special Operations from the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Landing on a selected airstrip would allow the quick extraction of Maduro and collaborators, with return to Boa Vista or Manaus. The operation would be disguised as “humanitarian cooperation.”

🇺🇸 U.S. intelligence services and USSOUTHCOM monitored the Brazilian plans. The Navy positioned itself against participation, revealing internal divisions within the Armed Forces. Washington made it clear that any attempt at rescue would bring new economic and diplomatic sanctions.

🔍 Recent movements indicate logistical preparation: training flights in Anápolis and Campo Grande, deployment of armored vehicles to Boa Vista, and reinforcement in Pacaraima. Operation Imeri, even masked as a humanitarian action, sought to protect Maduro and his accomplices from capture or neutralization by Southern Command operations.
