The Liquid Network has officially entered a controlled resumption phase following successful software updates by Blockstream and node operators.
Block production and transaction processing have resumed, and direct Liquid to Liquid transactions are now confirming on the network.
USDT and DePix are now back online. Peg-in and peg-out operations remain temporarily suspended while efforts to restore full 1:1 reserve backing continue.
While out-of-band peer-to-peer transfers are technically possible on-chain, we strongly advise against conducting manual L-BTC swaps at a discounted ratio, as active work is underway to restore full backing.
What this means for you as an AQUA Wallet user:
▪️ Liquid to Liquid and native on-chain Bitcoin transactions are fully functional
▪️ Peg operations remain temporarily paused
▪️ Swaps (all pairs) inside the app will function if dealers are online and liquidity available
▪️ Liquid USDT swaps across chains should work as usual as soon as the liquidity providers enable them
▪️ Your private keys remain completely secure throughout this process
While we are working on restoring full service, please remain vigilant against phishing scams and fake update sites. AQUA team members will never ask for your seed phrase or send unsolicited direct messages.
