The worst-case scenario here is that, in extremely unlikely edge-cases, a user could be slightly inconvenienced, and would need to run `invalidateblock` to prompt her node to forget the invalid chain and re-sync to the correct chain.

When I recommend updating to a BIP110-enforcing client before mandatory signaling in order to help your node avoid "being tricked into accepting invalid blocks", this is exactly what I am referring to. No one running the latest BIP-110 code before the deadline…

And since a chainsplit is very unlikely, it is virtually certain that no one will hit this at all. But it is true that this edge case could be handled more smoothly.

As always, take courage from the FUD attacks - they indicate that we are over the target.

It should be noted that this limitation was already known, but it was not considered important enough to mitigate since both the likelihood and the potential harm are very low.
