Does that mean that I want to actively want to stop people from reading the Bible or Das Kapital? Of course not!
If anything, reading up on the stuff you disagree with helps you understand why people disagree with you and can sharpen your arguments against theirs.
Or make you change your mind, which you should want, if you have it in you to admit when you were wrong.
