R to @daily_btc_lore: 5/7 - On June 23, 2021 at around 8:30 AM, Popescu entered the sea at Playa Hermosa in Costa Rica. The current swept him away. Red Cross paramedics found him on the beach and could not revive him. Playa Hermosa’s currents are not safe to swim in. He was 41.
