'You guys did well, $690k buy, $830k sell, how come you sold?"
What many don't quite get is the costs of holding a property.
I had to explain that you guys see $140k gain over 8 years, all we saw was about $20k due to taxes, holding costs, losses, #interest.
When factoring in inflation, we lost money.
