In 1950, Israel passed the “Absentee Property Law.”
Any Palestinian who fled or was forced out was labeled “absentee.”

No right of return. Ever.
That single law turned temporary flight into permanent theft.

Over 1 million people displaced
out of a population of around 5.5 million.
