RT by @steipete: I don't know who's behind the "healer-alpha" model on OpenRouter but:
- it has replaced 95% of my Sonnet usage
- it's omni-modal
- it's fast and furious, esp inside pi
- it's probably Chinese
If this is open-sourced and/or priced competitively, this will be a *big deal*

Ali Zaeteri / @alizaeteri:
Israel just bombed South Pars.
The largest gas field on Earth.
It supplies most of Iran’s gas and fuels most of its electricity.
Iran warned it would retaliate against Israeli-linked energy infrastructure… including major hubs in Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
This is how a regional conflict turns global.
A thread 🧵
Ali Zaeteri / @alizaeteri:
First, what is South Pars?
It’s a massive gas field under the Persian Gulf.
It sits between Iran and Qatar.
Both countries share it…
Iran calls it South Pars,
Qatar calls it the North Field.
Together, it’s the largest gas reserve on Earth.
Ali Zaeteri / @alizaeteri:
Gas → electricity
Electricity → homes, cities, industry
So when gas is hit…
You’re disrupting how a country runs.
Ali Zaeteri / @alizaeteri:
How does gas become electricity?
Gas is burned in power plants.
That heat spins turbines.
Turbines generate electricity.
That electricity powers homes, cities and industry.
Ali Zaeteri / @alizaeteri:
Now the key point…
Iran previously said:
If Iran‘s energy infrastructure is bombed by Israel and the U.S. …
Iran will target energy infrastructure linked to countries working with the U.S. and Israel.
Ali Zaeteri / @alizaeteri:
Iran didn’t keep it vague.
They named specific sites:
Saudi Arabia → Samref Refinery, Jubail
UAE → Al-Hasan gas field
Qatar → Ras Laffan, Mesaieed
These are major energy hubs.
Ali Zaeteri / @alizaeteri:
Why these matter:
Ras Laffan → one of the largest LNG hubs
Jubail → massive industrial + oil center
Fujairah / Gulf routes → global export flow
These power global supply.
Ali Zaeteri / @alizaeteri:
Qatar hosts the world’s largest LNG complex.
Ras Laffan.
LNG = gas cooled into liquid
so it can be shipped worldwide.
It supplies around 20% of global LNG.
That gas goes to:
🔹Europe
🔹Asia
🔹Global industry
Ali Zaeteri / @alizaeteri:
So if this system is disrupted:
🔹Supply drops
🔹Prices spike
🔹Countries compete for energy
Ali Zaeteri / @alizaeteri:
Why this is a big shift:
Before, most strikes targeted military sites.
Now…,energy systems are being hit.
That’s escalation.
From armies to entire economies.
This was never about “liberation.”
Ali Zaeteri / @alizaeteri:
Now connect the dots:
→ Israel bombs South Pars
→ Iran retaliates
→ Gulf energy hubs targeted
→ Global supply at risk
That’s the chain reaction.
Ali Zaeteri / @alizaeteri:
You don’t need full destruction.
Even small disruption:
Raises prices
Shakes markets
Affects countries worldwide
Ali Zaeteri / @alizaeteri:
This is the real shift:
Not just countries targeting each other.
But targeting the systems
that power the global economy.
Iran is fighting for its existence.
Israel doesn’t care about the consequences as long as they achieve Greater Israel
