As an introverted person, it's never easy to do something involved socializing. But with the supportive team of TuronMUN, I had the chance to experience how it is like to organize such a big event. That helped me to overcome my inner fear to be more open and to show what I can do. I also had the opportunity to forge lasting bonds with incredible people.

TuronMUN was among my top extracurricular activities in the application process and it was a great help to showcase my social side as a Computer Science student in the EYUF scholarship interview.

I'm always grateful for the amazing experiences with the TuronMUN organization team.

▶️ Muhammadqodir Abdullayev led Logistics at TuronMUN. Now, he moves forward at University of Reading as an EYUF scholarship holder.

TuronMUN played an important role in my personal and professional development. Being involved as the Head of Logistics, helped me improve my organization and teamwork skills. It also strengthened my communication and problem-solving abilities.

During the application process, my experience at TuronMUN showed universities that I can take responsibility, manage complex tasks, and work effectively in a team. It also demonstrated my commitment to extracurricular activities.

📸 Masodiqov Alyorbek, former Head of Media and Deputy Secretary-General at TuronMUN, is now a Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship recipient at University of Debrecen.

Starting as part of the Media team and later stepping into the role of Deputy Secretary-General, TuronMUN gave me the chance to grow in ways I didn’t expect. It taught me how to lead, take responsibility, and turn ideas into something real.

This experience became a key part of my journey, both personally and in my applications.

⚡️ Nazarov Muhammadali served as a Chair at TuronMUN. He has been accepted to Minerva University and is planning to begin his studies next year. Here’s how he looks back on his journey with us:

I joined this MUN as a Chair during its second conference, and over time, it became much more than just an event—it became a community I genuinely grew with.

Along the way, I improved my communication, built meaningful connections, and contributed to the academic side of the conference.

Even though I’m no longer part of the team, the experience and growth I gained here still stay with me.

I have worked as an organizer for the first 3 seasons of the project, and am so grateful for these unforgettable experiences. Personally, I have improved my sense of responsibility and organizing skills, which are the most crucial in university life. Besides, I found new friends and expanded my social circle.

Academically, as my major is Business Administration, which requires more leadership and teamwork skills, I mentioned my MUN experiences in my application essays, and now I am a holder of the Türkiye Bursları scholarship.

😦 Numonov Samandar worked as a Developer at TuronMUN. He has won a full-ride scholarship to Lafayette College, where he will be studying. Here’s how he describes his journey with us:

I've been with TuronMUN for over a year now, and it all started from something small: building a little website for the event. That "small" website has now grown into a platform that handles the entire TuronMUN operation, from delegates to chairs!

It's helped me grow in so many ways, both in personal skills and as a person overall. And when it comes to college applications, TuronMUN is not "average" EC; it's already well-known, so it genuinely adds value.

Overall it's been an amazing experience and I'd 100% recommend it to anyone thinking about joining! 🙌
