— "Germany won’t allow allies to ship German-made tanks to Ukraine nor send its own systems unless the U.S. agrees to send American main battle tanks, senior German officials said on Wednesday.
North Atlantic Treaty Organization allies have over 2,000 German-made Leopard tanks, considered to be among the most sophisticated in the world, according to the London-based International Institute for Strategic Studies.
Several European governments have said they are ready to send German-made tanks to Ukraine, including Poland, Finland and Denmark, if they get approval from Berlin, though none has made a formal request. Britain has said it would send 14 of its Challenger 2 main battle tanks, an older equivalent to the Leopard."

Alec Baldwin will be charged with involuntary manslaughter over "Rust" shooting
The incident happened at a ranch near Sante Fe, New Mexico in October 2021. Baldwin had been rehearsing a scene for the Western film "Rust", when he accidentally shot a cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. As a result, Hutchins died.
Alec Baldwin and Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the film's armourer, will be charged. Both face up to 18 months in jail and a $5,000 fine if convicted. They will be tried by a jury.

Official report shows abortions fell 99% in Texas after Roe reversal
The most recent data from August 2022 shows only 3 abortions were conducted in the entire state, and each of those were the result of medical emergencies.
This is a drastic change from 68 abortions in July and 2,596 in June 2022.
In the months following the overturning of Roe v Wade, Texas upheld and successfully defended its Heartbeat law against Federal challenges. The law makes all abortions after a heartbeat is detected illegal, except in the case of a medical emergency where medical professionals do all they can to save the baby.
Meanwhile in California there were nearly 166,000 abortions in 2022.
