At a high school in Genoa, the headmistress sent out a circular with "precautions" for Ramadan: she suggested postponing tests and exams, holding them in the morning and avoiding them on days of vigil and the final celebration; for physical education, possible exemptions from practical activities.

Stated objective: to protect the mental and physical well-being of students who are fasting and to foster an inclusive environment.

Some teachers reported the note to the Regional School Office (USR) of Liguria, considering it an interference in their professional autonomy. The USR clarified that these are non-mandatory guidelines.


While crucifixes were removed out of "respect" for other religions, now tasks are being shifted for Ramadan.

I love it when someone like Fatima Payman tells me I should leave the country if I don't like the direction Australia is heading.

It comes following One Nation's strong stance against mass migration - particularly from countries where people are incompatible with western society.

Migrants with long-term negative fiscal impacts on western nations include those from:

• Horn of Africa and Sudan
• Morocco
• Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, and Iraq
• Central Africa

A truck and a tanker crashed on the M7/N2 intersection, leading to a massive spill.

Four occupants of the trucks have been injured.

An Afghan knifeman has attacked multiple people at a Jehovah's Witness stand in a German train station.

The 35-year-old attacker was then overpowered by heroic civilians at Würzburg Central Station who rushed to the victims' aid.

Police are treating it as an attempted homicide and have arrested a suspect in connection with the attack who is now in custody.

The attack is reminiscent of another stabbing in Würzburg in June 2021.

An invader killed three women and injured nine other people after he indiscriminately stabbed unsuspecting passersby in the city centre.
