Children are being vaccinated against Covid before an official decision on whether youngsters should be given the jab, The Telegraph can disclose.

Councils and GPs in virus hotspots are defying current government rules by giving the vaccine to 16 and 17-year-olds without underlying health conditions. On Friday, Rochdale Borough Council invited "anyone aged 16 and over" to have a first dose of the Pfizer jab without the need for an appointment. Another drive-through clinic for teenagers is due to take place in the town on Saturday. On Friday night, a spokesman for the council and local NHS clinical commissioning group said a "multi-agency decision" had been taken to expand the criteria to 16 and 17-year-olds because Rochdale was "again in a desperate race to stay ahead of the virus". The spokesman said: "Our borough is one of the areas of the country worst affected by coronavirus and our infection rate is now approaching that seen in Bolton a few weeks ago. Among our younger age groups, the rate is almost 1,000 cases per 100,000 people.

HOW TO SHARE AND OPTIONS - ANDROID PHONES

There appears to be some confusion with many about how to "share" to other groups, friends and other platforms.

Option 1)

On the right of all posts you will see a black arrow. Select this to forward to your friends and other groups.. This option allows the selection of multiple friends/groups in one go; however, this option only allows you to select ONE post at any one time.

OPTION 2) sharing posts internally within Telegram is called "FORWARD"

To select multiples of posts/pages to forward onto other groups/friends; on your phone, select by touching firmly each post.

You will notice that has you select each post, a GREEN DOT on the left will appear by the side of each selected post. You will note that has you select the posts a number at the top left will appear to show/confirm how many posts you have selected "X 1, X 2" etc.

Once you are happy with your selection, press the arrow situated at the top right near the delete bin and forward internally to groups/friends within Telegram.

TO SHARE EXTERNALLY from Telegram, to other Social Media platforms

Option 3)

3a) First tap the text content of the video that you want to share and copy it. Hold fire 🥰

3b) To share a post with a video to another Social Media platform,
simply select by tapping the video and you will see the background of the video become black. Select the 3 DOTS and select SHARE.
On your phone select the destination, e.g FB. instagram.etc.

Once that you have selected the destination, the video will appear. Then paste the post text and share on.

Option 4) another option to "forward to a friend or another group"; simply tap your chosen post and the drop down dialogue box (as shown) will appear.

FORWARDING - select the right pointing arrow to "Forward".
