A delegation from Pennsylvania is set on Wednesday to tour the audit taking place in Arizona’s largest county.

The delegation will visit the Arizona Capitol to meet with members of the Arizona Legislature before touring the audit at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix.

“I kind of see this as a fact-finding mission to see what’s happening on the ground in Arizona,” Pennsylvania state Rep. Rob Kauffman told The Epoch Times.

Pennsylvania state Sens. Doug Mastriano and Cris Dush were also traveling to the state.

All three lawmakers are Republicans.

Asked if the trip could lead to a similar audit in Pennsylvania, Dush told The Epoch Times, “I can’t say that yet, but if we bring some substantial information back with us I could see it happening.”

Ken Bennett, the Arizona Senate’s audit liaison, told The Epoch Times that he did not have further information on the visit beyond what his team posted on Twitter on Tuesday.

The Arizona Senate ordered the audit after the 2020 election. Months of court battles ensued, with Maricopa County resisting subpoenas of ballots, machines, and other election materials. The county ultimately handed over most of the subpoenaed materials after a judge sided with the state Senate. The audit started on April 23. Auditors are about halfway through the nearly 2.1 million ballots cast in the county in the presidential election.

Arizona Senate President Karen Fann of the GOP has said the audit is not an attempt to change the election results, but to identify any problems in the election system and fix them for future contests.

Democrats largely oppose the audit but have not been successful in stopping it. Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, a Democrat, has repeatedly expressed concern that the Arizona audit could lead to similar efforts in other states.

A number of Republicans responded favorably to the news of the Pennsylvania delegation visiting Arizona.

“Good to see the PA legislature making moves…I wonder what got them moving? #affidavits from the People? maybe ;),” Josh Barnett, a business owner who is running Congress as a Republican wrote on Twitter.

Others criticized the move, alleging the audit is partisan and not proper.

Mastriano asked for an audit in Fulton County, Pennsylvania, and it was conducted by Wake Technology Services, which was working for weeks on the Maricopa County audit, according to county records. The results of the audit have not yet been released.

Dush and Kauffman in November 2020 called for a statewide audit of the election, citing reports from the media and from Pennsylvanians about potential fraud.

“Over the last several days, stories coming from local and national media outlets as well as personal reports made to our offices reveal a multitude of claims surrounding the integrity of the recent elections in Pennsylvania. Irregularities and inconsistencies associated with the conduct of the elections together with accusations of barriers to the transparent tabulation of election results warrant a closer and more comprehensive examination than state agencies have thus far undertaken,” the lawmakers wrote in a joint statement.

Kauffman and other Pennsylvania Republicans the following month said that an analysis of election data revealed “troubling discrepancies” between the vote count and the total number of voters.

Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar, a Democrat, dismissed allegations of irregularities. She announced in February that a risk-limiting audit pilot of the election supported the results.

Workers reviewed over 45,000 randomly selected ballots and the results of the sample mirrored the election results, she said.

Democrat Joe Biden won both Pennsylvania and Arizona. Republican Donald Trump had won the states in 2016.

BRACKETTVILLE, Texas—The tens of thousands of illegal aliens that evade Border Patrol every month—hoping to slip undetected to large cities up north—are now being confronted by sheriffs who are starting to charge them for trespassing, evading arrest on foot, and endangering the life or health of a child.

Seeing no solutions to the border crisis from the federal government, some counties are looking at all possible means to rein in the high-speed vehicle pursuits, trespassing, break-ins, vehicle thefts, and other crimes that are increasing in their communities.

“I’m going to start here, locally. If we catch them, we’re going to start prosecuting these people that are trespassing on y’all’s property,” Kinney County Sheriff Brad Coe told an appreciative crowd in Brackettville, Texas, on May 22. “And whatever other legitimate charge we can stack on there to try to deter them from coming to Kinney County. We’re going to try to hold these people accountable.”

Neighboring Edwards County is doing the same.

Coe said his county would start charging for trespassing on June 1. He provided ranchers with a form that would authorize the sheriff to file charges on their behalf if someone is caught on their property—saving the rancher from coming into town to press charges every time a trespasser is caught. For many local ranchers, it’s a daily occurrence.

Coe said the sheriff’s office recently filed child endangerment charges against a woman who bailed out of a vehicle that had been pulled over by a deputy. The woman grabbed her 7-year-old child and ran into the scrub without food or water. The deputy caught her and the child and then called the sheriff to ask what she should do with them.

“And I said, ‘Now’s the time to start,'” Coe told The Epoch Times. “Let’s file charges against her for child endangerment based on the fact that she ran out of the car, she had no bags, no nothing with her, no food, no water for that kid, 7 years old. You’ve seen the weather down here, some days it’s 90 degrees, 110 degrees. What was she planning on doing with that child in the brush with no food and no water?”

The woman and child were turned over to Border Patrol, while the sheriff’s office will present the child endangerment case to a grand jury to decide if it’s a valid case for prosecution, known as a true bill.

“If they ‘true bill’ it, then we’ll put a warrant out for her arrest, and wherever she turns up, we’ll go get her and bring her back,” Coe said.

“If we do arrest her, and she gets sentenced to a year or six months, whatever the case may be, if she ever tries to file for some type of assistance here, or become a citizen … that’d be a check mark against her.

“Some type of consequence has to be there.”

‘We’re Hoping They Avoid Our County’

Border Patrol detects a daily average of around 1,000 illegal aliens who evade capture along the southern border. The number of those who pass undetected is impossible to estimate.

Most of the illegal aliens passing through Kinney County are adult males who have crossed the border in the Del Rio Border Patrol Sector—usually into the small cities of Del Rio or Eagle Pass.

The sector is experiencing record-breaking numbers, and so far in the current fiscal year (which began on Oct. 1, 2020), Border Patrol has apprehended illegal aliens from 70 countries, according to information obtained by The Epoch Times.

Border Patrol in the Del Rio Sector has apprehended 95 sex offenders this fiscal year, compared to six during the same period in fiscal 2020. Apprehension of criminals has topped 813 compared to 161 in the same period in fiscal 2020.

Kinney County Attorney Brent Smith is preparing to take up a slew of new trespass cases, while the district attorney deals with the felonies, such as human smuggling.

After an illegal alien is arrested for trespassing, Smith will examine the evidence in the case file from the sheriff’s office. If it’s determined that trespass occurred, he’ll charge the individual with trespassing, which is a Class B misdemeanor. The charge is elevated if the individual has a deadly weapon or is found more than 100 feet past the property line on agricultural land.

Once charged, the suspect will make a plea, and if they plead guilty, they’ll most likely be released with time served (two to three days) and be turned over to Border Patrol.

It’s not a big penalty, but Coe and Smith say it gets illegal aliens into the system and gives them a record.

“We’re hoping they avoid our county,” Smith said.

“We’re trying to make sure they’re held accountable for breaking the laws in our state and our nation. And so, if [President Joe] Biden is not going to enforce the law, then we’re going to try to enforce our own state laws.”

On April 21, Kinney County declared a local disaster due to the impact of the border surge, saying in its declaration that the “health, life, and property” of its residents are “under imminent threat of disaster from the human trafficking occurring on our border with Mexico.”

More than two dozen counties have since also made disaster declarations or are in the process of it.

Smith said Texas should act on its own to enforce its border with Mexico.

“It is my opinion that an emergency declaration by Governor [Greg] Abbott or the Texas Legislature would authorize Texas to take certain steps in the enforcement of its own borders and the protection of its citizens’ health, safety, and welfare,” he wrote in an open letter in April.

West Virginians who get a COVID-19 vaccination will be entered into sweepstakes to win custom guns or $1 million, Gov. Jim Justice announced on Tuesday.

“We’re going to give five custom hunting rifles and five custom hunting shotguns away on Father’s Day. And also on Father’s Day, we’re going to make one of you a millionaire. We’re going to give away a million dollars to somebody on Father’s Day,” Justice, a Republican, told a press conference.

The program will award $1 million to one person each week starting June 20. On the last day, Aug. 4, the state will give $1,588,000 to the winner and $588,000 to the runner-up, Justice said.

“I’m sure we’ll have a bunch of happy campers,” Justice said.

Some details of what is being described as an incentive lottery were announced last week but more information was released on Tuesday.

Along with guns, the state plans on doling out college scholarships and pickup trucks. The state is buying the prizes before handing them out, as opposed to receiving donated items to award to vaccine recipients.

Only people who have received a COVID-19 vaccination are eligible and those people must also register at a website the state is creating.

Ohio kicked off the trend of giving out incentives for getting vaccines. Gov. Mike DeWine, a Republican, announced on May 12 that five residents would each get $1 million in a lottery-style drawing.

Ohio saw its vaccination rate surge by 28 percent in the wake of the announcement. “We need to save lives. We need to get Ohio moving forward. The way we do it is through vaccines. This is our ticket out of the pandemic. This is the great tool that we have now,” DeWine said in defense of the program.

“I can’t stand for Ohio to get ahead of us on anything,” Justice, the West Virginia governor, told reporters on Tuesday.

West Virginia has administered 1.4 million COVID-19 vaccine doses, with nearly 675,000 residents getting fully vaccinated against the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus., which causes COVID-19, according to the West Virginia Department of Health & Human Resources. About half of the state’s residents who are 12 or older have received at least one dose.

The state reached the goal of vaccinating 75 percent of people 50 years old or older and 84 percent of 65 years or older, Justice said.

He noted that some people would wonder why the state needed to give prizes to people for vaccinations.

“If you just step back and think, ‘well, why in a world would you have to give away something to get somebody vaccinated?’ Well unfortunately, it’s the way [of] the world in a lot of situations,” he said.

“We had people run and beg to be able to get their vaccination. I would tell you, throughout countries all across this globe, especially India today, people are begging, begging to have the ability to get vaccinated. So in all things and everything, maybe we shouldn’t have to give away things to get people across the finish line. But just think about this: the faster we get them across the finish line, the more lives we save. Absolutely, that’s all there is to it. It’s just as simple as just that. The faster we get them across the finish line, the more money we save as a state. And absolutely, these dollars become not miniscule, because these are real dollars that we’re giving away. But absolutely, at the end of the day, if the tab just keeps running, the cost is enormous. The testing cost is enormous. The hospitalizations are enormous. The deaths are really, really bad. And so we got to get all of our folks across the finish line.”

The White House Tuesday said that the cyberattack affecting meatpacking firm JBS Foods’ systems appeared to originate in Russia and said the administration is offering assistance.

“JBS notified the administration that the ransom demand came from a criminal organization, likely based in Russia,” White House principal deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters, adding that the Biden administration is “engaging directly” with Moscow and has sent a “message that responsible states do not harbor ransomware criminals.”

On Monday, JBS confirmed in a release that it was hit with a cybersecurity attack. The firm’s servers in Australia and North America were impacted during the incident.

“The company’s backup servers were not affected, and it is actively working with an Incident Response firm to restore its systems as soon as possible,” said the statement, which added the Brazil-based company is “not aware” of any employee, customer, or supplier data that was obtained or breached.

The FBI is investigating the cyberattack, while the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency is providing technical support, Jean-Pierre said.

“The White House has offered assistance to JBS, and our team and the Department of Agriculture have spoken to their leadership several times in the last day,” Jean-Pierre added to reporters. “We’re assessing any impacts on supply, and the president has directed the administration to determine what we can do to mitigate any impacts as they may become necessary,” Jean-Pierre said, according to The Hill.

After the cyberattack, JBS’s pork and beef plants in Iowa, Minnesota, and Texas announced on Facebook that they were canceling several shifts on Tuesday for an undisclosed period of time.

“June 1 there will be no 1&2 harvest and no 1&2 bacon slicing. All other departments will start at regular times,” said a Facebook post from the JBS pork plant in Ottumwa, Iowa.

According to the plant in Cactus, Texas, “We will not operate tomorrow. Buses will not run. ONLY MAINTENANCE, MATERIAL HANDLING, and FREEZERS ARE SCHEDULED TO WORK. Orientation for 6/1 is also canceled.”

Because of the outages, nearly one-fifth of U.S. beef production has been halted, according to Bloomberg. JBS Foods is the No. 1 producer of beef in the country, while rival firm Tyson Foods is No. 2, the report said.

Scott Payne, a spokesman for United Food and Commercial Workers Canada Union Local 401, told Bloomberg News on Tuesday that a plant in Brooks, Alberta, in Canada, was shut down. “Effectively the plant’s operations have shut for the day,” he said.

Last month, Colonial Pipeline, a major fuel transporting system along the U.S. East Coast, was breached via a ransomware attack that FBI officials believe originated in Russia and Eastern Europe. The pipeline was down for approximately a week, prompting a spike in gas prices as well as fuel shortages in several southeastern states.

On 28 May 2021, I gave evidence to the 54th session of the Stiftung Corona Ausschuss, the German-based extraparliamentary inquiry by lawyers into the medical establishment’s and public policymakers’ handling of the Covid crisis internationally.
The theme for the day during the 54th session was “Caught between nudging and side effects”. A transcript of my testimony is below.

Reiner Füllmich: Brian, I apologise for having kept you waiting for twenty minutes or so.

Brian Gerrish: That’s absolutely fine, and I’d just like to say that I don’t speak German but it was fascinating watching you and listening, and it was wonderful to see you start laughing, because you looked very serious in most of the dialogues that I’ve listened to.

There was one word that I picked up that I found very interesting, and that was Wahnsinn, which came up several times, particularly when [persecuted primary school headmistress] Bianca was speaking.

Reiner Füllmich: You know what it means, right?

Brian Gerrish: Yes, “madness”. And I’m going to say to you: it’s not madness. What we are facing is calculated, and it’s a mistake to call it “madness”, because it’s very precise; it’s very calculated. We need to understand that in order to be able to deal with what we’re facing.

Reiner Füllmich: That’s very interesting to hear, because we have come to the conclusion that “the other side”, as we call them, is using two major tools. One is, of course, psychology, psychological operations; and the other, which transports this psychological operation, is the mainstream media.

Can you tell us a little about your background?

Brian Gerrish: Well, my personal background is, professionally, I was military: I was in the Royal Navy for twenty-one years. I then worked in industry, essentially, for a while, but after a few years, I began to understand that things were not good in the UK, and I began to see things and investigate things.

Ultimately, that’s led me, over nearly another twenty years, to team up with a gentleman called Mike Robinson, and for fourteen years now, we’ve been running a media outlet called the UK Column, where I’m delighted to say that we’re expanding, and it’s clear that our viewers and listeners are now not only in the UK; they’re across the world.

A government document produced by Education Scotland details how authorities now consider anything that goes against the official narrative on Covid-19 as an extremist view that endangers children and risks radicalising them.

The document entitled ‘How extremists are using Covid-19 to promote disinformation, misinformation, and conspiracy theories’ claims that it is aimed at senior leaders, teachers and safeguarding leads, and aims to provide a summary of the ways in which extremists have responded to Covid-19, highlighting the additional radicalisation risks for children.

Education Scotland describe how young people may have been exposed to disinformation, misinformation and conspiracy theories, which they label as “fake news”. The document states that the people spreading what authorities have deemed to be conspiracy theories, as extremists who are seeking to exploit Covid-19 in order to spread hateful narratives and increase mistrust and division.

But what sort of theories have Education Scotland classed as extremist?

▪︎Anti-Semitic conspiracies blaming the Jewish community for spreading the virus or suggesting that COVID-19 is a ‘Jewish plot’;
▪︎Claims that British Muslims have flouted social distancing rules and spread COVID-19;
▪︎Narratives promoting Anti-Chinese hatred;
▪︎Daesh-inspired narratives claiming that the pandemic is divine punishment for the West’s ‘sinful’ behaviours and using this to promote the need for a Caliphate in the West;
▪︎Extreme right-wing conspiracies claiming that society is collapsing and the right-wing terrorism can accelerate its end through inciting social conflict violence and ultimately a race war;

Sounds pretty reasonable so far doesn’t it?

▪︎That is until you find what other views Education Scotland now regard as extremist –

Wider conspiracy theories relating to 5G, test and protect and anti-vax, which can be detrimental to public health messaging.

Let’s begin with 5G. This is a new technology which has not been subjected to sufficient safety tests on human beings. Something we shouldn’t be surprised at considering the fact authorities are hell bent on injecting every man woman and child with another experimental technology – the Covid-19 vaccines.

It does not make you anti-vax to refuse to take an experimental “vaccine” which is still in phase three trials until 2023 at the earliest. It makes you anti-unsafe-vax, because that’s exactly what they are until such time as there is long term data to tell us otherwise. Is that an extremist view? No it isn’t, it’s an incredibly sensible one to which anyone with an ounce of common sense should be able to realise. To be considered extremist for arguing against experimental gene therapies that the authorities are trying to coerce the entire population into taking means we really have landed in the middle of George Orwell’s novel Nineteen-Eighty-Four.

Then there’s ‘test and protect’ or test and trace as you may know it. An app created to track your every movement in the name of preventing the spread of Covid-19. It has served as a restraint to those foolish enough to download and use it, possibly missing scores of days of work and life well spent because they happened to be within the vicinity of somebody who received a positive test for SARS-CoV-2. Somebody who most likely received a positive test after being tested even though they had no symptoms, thus being a false positive. Is it really extremist to express these facts? Education Scotland certainly seem to think so.

What has Education Scotland recommended if teachers suspect their students may have been subject to such views which are in fact the truth?

1. Review your school or setting’s safeguarding/risk assessment processes or procedures to ensure that they include the risks of radicalisation, and consider the impact of COVID-19 and the information in this briefing, as well as any local
changes in risk or community tensions;

2. Ensure staff are familiar with the issues raised in this briefing to increase their confidence in recognising concerns;
3. Ensure both staff and learners are clear on the reporting procedures to raise concerns;

4. Dedicate time to rebuilding relationships between children and young people and trusted adults and positive role models, which may have been absent during the pandemic. This absence may have led to extremist narratives and individuals who are offering an explanation for the pandemic increasing in appeal and going unchallenged. Have ‘safe space’ discussions with learners and encourage staff to adopt ‘active listening’ approaches and to seek advice if they are concerned about a child or young person;

5. Review curriculum opportunities for critical thinking, online safety, and media literacy (further support and guidance can be found below).

In other words they recommend that the parents should be reported to the relevant authorities in the name of safeguarding the children, as they have been subject to views on this “shamdemic” that do not conform to the narrative the authorities have attempted to push on an unsuspecting and extremely gullible nation since March 2020. They also recommend to ensure they are indoctrinated back into the system and subjected to the authorities narrative as being the only narrative by ‘rebuilding relationships with trusted adults. They are in essence implying that if as a parent you do not agree with the authorities narrative that you are a threat to your child’s safety.

But it get’s even better, or worse depending on which way you look at it. What resources do Education Scotland recommend should be used by teachers and children to help them identify misleading content? None other than those available at the BBC.

TALLAHASSEE, June 1, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) – Florida became the latest state to protect women’s sports for actual women Monday, as Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a new law that will exclude biological males who claim transgender status from competing with the opposite sex in sex-specific athletic programs.

The Fairness in Women’s Sports Act had been proclaimed dead by opponents after being shelved by Senate Republicans with just days left in the legislative session. But Republicans revived the measure at the end of April by attaching it to a charter school bill.

“Athletic teams or sports designated for females, women, or girls may not be open to students of the male sex,” the new law reads. “For purposes of this section, a statement of a student’s biological sex on the student’s official birth certificate is considered to have correctly stated the student’s biological sex at birth if the statement was filed at or near the time of the student’s birth.” Female athletes affected by violations can sue for damages.

“In acting to defend women’s sports in Florida today, Governor Ron DeSantis has solidified his reputation as a fearless conservative who will face down attacks from the woke elite in order to do what’s right for his constituents,” said American Principles Project president Terry Schilling, who joined DeSantis at the bill signing ceremony. “This is exactly the quality which voters are so desperately looking for in their national leadership.”

“When we began working on this issue over two years ago, very few Republicans were interested in standing up for female athletes,” Schilling continued. “Many were fearful of the boycott threats from woke corporations and bad publicity from the leftist-dominated media. But by joining Florida to a growing coalition of states that are moving to explicitly protect a fair playing field for female athletes, Gov. DeSantis has sent a message to the woke elite: attack us at your peril. While economic boycott threats might have worked against a single state, the strength of many state leaders standing together to defend women’s sports is certain to neutralize the left’s favorite playbook.”

Florida is now the eighth state with similar language on the books.

LGBT activists claim it’s “discriminatory” to reserve female competitive sports for actual females, and conservatives argue that forcing girls to compete against boys deprives the former of recognition and scholarship opportunities that were originally instituted to advance girls academically and professionally. Further, scientific research indicates that testosterone suppression does not eliminate all the physical advantages that come with male physiology. 

In a paper published by the Journal of Medical Ethics, New Zealand researchers found that “healthy young men (do) not lose significant muscle mass (or power) when their circulating testosterone levels were reduced to (below International Olympic Committee guidelines) for 20 weeks,” and “indirect effects of testosterone” on factors such as bone structure, lung volume, and heart size “will not be altered by hormone therapy”; therefore, “the advantage to transwomen (biological men) afforded by the (International Olympic Committee) guidelines is an intolerable unfairness.”

This is only the latest in a string of actions DeSantis has taken that have pleased conservatives, such as banning left-wing critical race theory from public schools, 
forbidding “vaccine passports” that would coerce Floridians into taking a COVID-19 vaccine against their will, 
pardoning residents who violate local COVID-19 restrictions, 
increasing penalties for rioting, 
limiting social media giants’ power to deplatform their political enemies, and signing an election law that strengthens signature verification for mail ballots and bans ballot harvesting.

This record has made DeSantis a top contender for the GOP’s 2024 presidential nomination in the minds of many conservatives.
