The Office of Donald J. Trump released a statement Monday by the former president that was directed at Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx, who were both leaders on the Trump administrations task force to respond to the coronavirus.

This comes after both Fauci and Birx gave interviews featured in a recent CNN documentary.

Based on their interviews, I felt it was time to speak up about Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx, two self-promoters trying to reinvent history to cover for their bad instincts and faulty recommendations, which I fortunately almost always overturned. They had bad policy decisions that would have left our country open to China and others, closed to reopening our economy, and years away from an approved vaccine—putting millions of lives at risk.

We developed American vaccines by an American President in record time, nine months, which is saving the entire world. We bought billions of dollars of these vaccines on a calculated bet that they would work, perhaps the most important bet in the history of the world. Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx moved far too slowly, and if it were up to them we’d currently be locked in our basements as our country suffered through a financial depression. Families, and children in particular, would be suffering the mental strains of this disaster like never before.

In a fake interview last night on CNN, Dr. Fauci, who said he was an athlete in college but couldn’t throw a baseball even close to home plate, it was a “roller,” tried to take credit for the vaccine, when in fact he said it would take three to five years, and probably longer, to have it approved. Dr. Fauci was incapable of pressing the FDA to move it through faster. I was the one to get it done, and even the fake news media knows and reports this.

Dr. Fauci is also the king of “flip-flops” and moving the goalposts to make himself look as good as possible. He fought me so hard because he wanted to keep our country open to countries like China. I closed it against his strong recommendation, which saved many lives. Dr. Fauci also said we didn’t need to wear masks, then a few months later he said we needed to wear masks, and now, two or three of them. Fauci spent U.S. money on the Wuhan lab in China—and we now know how that worked out.

Dr. Birx is a proven liar with very little credibility left. Many of her recommendations were viewed as “pseudo-science,” and Dr. Fauci would always talk negatively about her and, in fact, would ask not to be in the same room with her. The States who followed her lead, like California, had worse outcomes on Covid, and ruined the lives of countless children because they couldn’t go to school, ruined many businesses, and an untold number of Americans who were killed by the lockdowns themselves. Dr. Birx was a terrible medical advisor, which is why I seldom followed her advice.

Her motto should be “Do as I say, not as I do.” Who can forget when Dr. Birx gave a huge mandate to the people of our Nation to not travel, and then traveled a great distance to see her family for Thanksgiving—only to have them call the police and turn her in? She then, embarrassingly for her, resigned.

Finally, Dr. Birx says she can’t hear very well, but I can. There was no “very difficult” phone call, other than Dr. Birx’s policies that would have led us directly into a COVID caused depression. She was a very negative voice who didn’t have the right answers. Time has proven me correct. I only kept Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx on because they worked for the U.S. government for so long—they are like a bad habit!

Seven individuals with direct knowledge believe Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) gave preferential treatment to family relatives and New York elites at state coronavirus testing centers.
According to a report, the immediate family of the New York governor, including his brother CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, are among those suspected of benefiting from Andrew Cuomo’s influence, obtaining “attention that appeared to go beyond that of others, receiving multiple visits at their Hamptons home from Department of Health physician Eleanor Adams, according to two people familiar with the visits.”

“They were treated like royalty… I didn’t understand why they were able to jump the line,” one of the seven individuals with knowledge said of the Cuomo family.

“I remember them being like, ‘They’re coming, they’re coming,’” the nurse remembered, articulating how site leaders spoke about the family when they were approaching. “And they would say, ‘Have the state trooper ready … have it ready to go to Wadsworth.’ There was a lot of anxiety over those samples getting to the right place.”

Other high society persons are also reported to have received special treatment, which were “described by staff as ‘priorities,’ ‘specials,’ ‘inner circle,’ or ‘criticals,’ according to five people, including three nurses,” who detailed how those close to Andrew Cuomo received redirected resources “that were fast-tracked.”

The individuals who divulged the news and described the “behind-the-scenes operations and their feelings of discomfort” spoke to the Washington Post on the condition of anonymity “out of fear of retribution by Cuomo’s office.”
Both brothers’ spokespersons have parsed the accusations.

“There was no ‘VIP’ program as the Washington Post described — when priority was given, it was to nurses, guardsmen, state workers, and other government officials central to the pandemic response and those they were in direct contact with…,” said Rich Azzopardi, the governor’s spokesman.

CNN spokesman Matt Dornic refused to comment on Chris Cuomo’s medical history. “As we have already said, we generally do not comment on employees’ medical care and we have nothing more to add,” he concluded.

Chris Cuomo conveniently took a hiatus shortly after the alleged nepotism story broke but returned to his show Monday, avoiding the allegations, along with the rest of CNN, which also “implemented a coverage blackout of the latest bombshell, including the network’s left-wing media guru Brian Stelter, who has a growing trend of avoiding the biggest media controversies on his media-centric program ‘Reliable Sources,'” according to Fox News.

Chris Cuomo’s alleged special treatment runs counter to what he said on his show in 2020 after he was infected with the Chinese virus. Doctor Anthony Fauci “can say that anyone who wants a test can get one, and they know that’s BS, because you and I both know that we know people in our lives who can’t get tested,” he complained. “And when they do get tested, they can’t get results, until they’re already over the illness.”

The new reporting comes while Andrew Cuomo is already under investigation by New York state Attorney General Letitia James for alleged sexual harassment. Despite the current investigation, James asked the New York’s Joint Commission on Public Ethics Thursday to open an investigation on Andrew Cuomo’s “testing protocol.”

“The recent reports alleging there was preferential treatment given for COVID-19 testing are troubling,” Jame’s spokesman said in a statement.

A spokesman for the ethics commission responded by saying the panel “cannot comment on anything that is or might be an investigative matter.”

The European Medicines Agency website already lists the hotly debated vaccine by its new name.

"The name of the vaccine was changed to Vaxzevria on March 25, 2021". This info has recently appeared on the European Medicines Agency (EMA) website for Astra Zeneca's vaccine. Also, all current notifications for Astra Zeneca are already named "Vaxzevria (formerly Covid-19 vaccine Astra Zeneca)." The label as well as the packaging have also been changed, reports Läkemedelsverket, the Swedish Agency for Health Products.

There has been no official announcement from Astra Zeneca. Is this an attempt to salvage the tarnished image? After the vaccination with Astra Zeneca was recently suspended in many European countries due to reports of thromboses, and the protection rate of 79 percent is significantly lower than that of the competition, the uncertainty is still great among many.

40 percent would refuse
In addition, there is the recent announcement from Berlin and Munich that they will no longer vaccinate under 60-year-olds with Astra Zeneca for the time being. The same was decided in Canada for those under 55. It is only a precautionary measure - but the reputation already seems to be severely damaged.

According to a survey by the University of Vienna, if they were given the opportunity for vaccination next week, only 11 percent would "definitely" get vaccinated with Astra Zeneca, 40 percent "definitely not." By comparison, 43 percent would "definitely" take up the offer with Biontech/Pfizer, and only 13 percent would "definitely not."

Whether the name Vaxzevria will save the Swedish-British group from its image predicament - should this be the declared goal - is questionable. After all, the name of the Biontech/Pfizer vaccine is hardly ever mentioned in public. This is Comirnaty - but the talk is always only of Biontech/Pfizer.

Moderna, on the other hand, has stuck with the conceivably simple name "COVID-19 Vaccine Moderna". This was also the name of Astra Zeneca's vaccine: "COVID-19 Vaccine Astra Zeneca". From now on, the company prefers to use a tongue twister.
