A hateful message from Hawaii about our ticket price and my response... Just thought you should see what my team has to deal with daily.

I guess your trip to Kauai, Hawaii is a vacation from the mainland with a ticket price of $750.00 per ticket really speaks volumes for the people of Hawaii. We're used to it anyways, priceing out locals. You want me to beg you to lower the price? No, this says it all!!! Your not coming here to help the people, your coming here to make it look like your helping the people. But in reality it's just a vacation! Screw you don't even come to Hawaii, just to have a feather in your cap and say it was a success while you pat your selves on the back. I get it, Hawaii is expensive, I live here alll my life. But this is a haoule party not for locals, unless you bitch about it and I say don't even come here!

If you live there, you must know how pricey it is.

Now imagine the expenses of flying my ENTIRE crew to the island for a week, the room costs, food, equipment, venue for a two-day event plus the luau (luau... our cost is $250).

We have been very open that this is a special event.

FYI: Not that you care but with real expenses it will take almost 150 ticket sales to cover our expenses and at this moment I don't see us hitting that which means I will "once again" lose a lot of money personally.

So, when you tell me to screw myself, I wish you would think a little deeper next time instead of being so hateful as if I had some obligation to go bankrupt to accommodate you personally.

Why does Lewis engage with haters?

About 3 people seem to get frustrated that I often engage with what we may call "haters".

The answer is... It is a teaching moment.

See... even "Haters" are valuable people (they are NOT all BOTS... that's an overblown conspiracy).

I don't get triggered by "Haters" but I do offer them an alternative perspective. Many of them reflect and even appologize.

Joe Gibbs a famous coach would see something one of his players did wrong. He would then address it publicly to his entire team without naming the offending player and many of the other players would correct their behavior as just being an observer.

Therefore, I value even the haters and believe the message resonates with many that may be having the same negative thoughts.

There is generally a method to my madness. I'm probably NOT as naive as you may suspect. 😳
