🔴 Truth Social’s Google Play Delay Disputed
Truth Social CEO Devin Nunes is locked in a war of words with Google, over the hold-up of President Donald Trump’s-founded platform’s distribution on the Google Play Store, with both claiming the ball’s in the other court.
Nunes has said he “doesn’t know what’s taking them so long”, despite Google claiming Truth Social acknowledged they had been made aware of “content moderation deficiencies” in their platform that prevented them from meeting terms of service.
“Sensitive content” banners do appear on Trurh Social, but posts with threats of violence remain uncensored. Until the app is available on the Google Play Store, it will be unavailable to 44% of US smartphone users.
