It IS hard.
Especially when you realize that one of the most common results of childhood trauma and familial dysfunction is a lack of boundaries. You were likely conditioned not to have boundaries at all. So, learning to set them is a MASSIVE shift.
People who grew up with healthy self-trust have boundaries automatically. And they can set and change them as needed. It’s a skill that’s just part of who they are.
People who do not have this skill have to build it from scratch and it’s painful and difficult. It feels at every step like you’re doing something WRONG. And that is why it’s so hard.
And in many cases the one you need to set boundaries with is the very person who taught you not to have them. It’s like facing the monster at the center of the labyrinth. The closer you get, the harder it is to do. 🔥

Read the Energy.
One of the best ways we learn is when we realize we had it wrong and we can backtrack to how we DID feel and see where we miscalculated…See where our Minds overrode our Intuition. Often this happens bc the person is saying all the right things - so we disregard the Energy that we are, in fact, picking up.
I tuned Bannon out years ago. Simply bc I couldn’t ignore the Energy I felt from him. But I had to learn that the hard way by listening to Lin Wood and then realizing that he was full of shit later.
I felt dumb, but what I realized was that I had had a VERY CLEAR signal of ICK that came off of him right after the election in 2020. BUT I IGNORED IT because he seemed to say all the right things.
I wouldn’t have learned to trust my inner ICK-meter if that hadn’t happened.
Everything happens for a reason. Don’t get lost in defensiveness or feeling embarrassed. Just take the info and LEARN.
