There are people on this earth living the lives they always wanted despite and in spite of every adversity they've been through.
They've experienced loss, heartbreak and tragedy.
But they didn't let it stop them.
They experienced childhood trauma, disability, betrayal and poverty.
But they didn't let it stop them.
They experienced neglect, abuse, addiction and abandonment.
But they didn't let it stop them.
Sometimes we subconsciously hold our excuses close to us.. We want a soft place to land so that if we slip up or fail to get where we are aiming, we can say "oh...it's because of XYZ".
But the people who transform their pain into purpose, they burn down every excuse that gets in their way. They see what it is they are fighting against, and they use it as motivation and momentum to break through every obstacle that dares to try and stop them.
Resilience is about determination to out pace your adversities.
