FYI everyone. This is happening across the board. It’s my understanding that you as the user, can pay for Premium Telegram in order to not see ads, but I’m pretty disappointed that this is happening. Please know that if you se ads on my channel, I did NOT authorize them and, in fact, I can’t even see them.
Edit: People are saying that you still see ads even WITH Premium. So personally, that’s a big turn off. You CAN report the ads however and make them disappear individually

These ads are showing up on channels and they are not anything we can control.
They are not put there by the channel owner and in fact I can't even see the ones on my channel this is a screenshot from another channel. That's highly suspicious of the control telegram has if it's hidden from me but you can see it. Very deceptive. 🚩
What's happening is the channels that are being advertised are paying for Telegram to solicit for them.
I checked into a lot of the channels that they are promoting and they seem to be scam channels. Just my observation.
I also believe they get pay per click. So if you click to see what the channel looks like, they probably are getting paid for that click.
Just be aware, don't get scammed.
This is not something I approve on my channel but telegram is controlling it.
