Spent a few hours yesterday driving/hiking the closest mountain near me. It's been my go to place since I moved here from Utah. I grew up surrounded by mountains and when I really need to feel and remember all of the little bits of myself, all the layers that time has forged into my foundation as I grew and I, too, overcame obstacles - I retreat to the mountains.

Maybe it's the way the mountains tell me that everything I feel weighing me down is only meant to build me up and help me grow bigger and stronger than before.
