I used this book in my Masters research. It’s is excellent. It’s about how trauma is stored in our tissues and that it keeps track of what we experience, even if we refuse to address it in the mind. Very informative for issues with PTSD along with all manner of “normal” trauma.

Wanna know why you hold yourself back so often?

Shame.

And not even active shame or expectant shame.

No...you're experiencing shame memory.

Because you remember that time you sang a silly song in the comfort of your home and getting made fun of by your own family for it.

Because you remember letting your family down or letting your friends down.

Because you remember letting yourself down.

A lot of times we use the memory of shame to shelter us from the possibility of experiencing shame all over again.

So we don't take that step.
We don't sing that song.
We don't make the thing.
We don't say what we truly desire to.
We don't open that book.
We don't take that walk.

We never climb the mountain.

And in an attempt to avoid the shame, we find ourselves in a shame valley. Encircled with reminders of all of the "would've could've should've".

If you could've only let that fear of shame be. If you could've only learned to take it day by day, step by step.

If you could've only paused your head for long enough to see the gorgeous scenery all around you.

If you'd learned to take your time, to breathe the fresh air and to keep trying no matter how many times you had to fail in order to succeed.

If only.....

If only you could look into your future and see that coming. If only you could make a decision right here and right now to show up for yourself, to show up for those you love, to give this life everything you've got and to see to it that no matter what happens, when people remember you, they will remember love.

What if you learned that sometimes the most beautiful scenes can only be seen from on top of the mountain that you just climbed?

What if your best and brightest life is on the top of that mountain?

What if you could remind yourself of that right now, to comfort you in your climb and get you moving again?

With its demise our culture has been left desperately searching for a new spiritual direction.

Only by returning to its mystical roots will Christianity play a role in the creation of a new spirituality for the New Age of Aquarius.”

There are so many different lores and legends around this day, our Winter Solstice.

In days of old, they were concerned about the darkness never ending.

Solstice literally means the Sun stands in one place.

To counteract the long, night they would place fir trees in their homes and light them with candles. Beckoning in the light to chase away the darkness of the neverending night.

They would tell ghost stories around a yulelog and wait as a family through the long dark night for the sun to rise and break through that darkness.

Kind of beautiful, right?

We understand now that it's all about the axis of the Earth. It's the longest night with the shortest amount of sun.

Ushering in the coming of winter.

It is incredibly timely within our timeline because you are the light that has cleared the darkness.

Your journey through ascension is doing that for all beings on the planet.

Today is a beautiful day to be in the energies and feel the power of YOU.

Share your light out far and wide so you can be a beacon to those still looking for a way out of the darkness.

You can help so many and not even be aware of it.

I’ve seen a lot of theories about when Jesus was born. All with different dates and reasons for whatever date being referenced is actually Jesus’ birthday. They all fall short of understanding because they are missing the point. And it’s a big one.

For my part, it was crystal clear to me when I first started studying the Zodiacal Wheel of the Year and saw that “Christmas Eve” falls three days after the Winter Solstice, that Jesus, the SunSon, was “Born” at the Solstice. This is the time of year when the light begins to triumph once again over the darkness and the days begin to get longer instead of shorter.
So Jesus’ “birthday” is actually marking this significant point on the Wheel astrologically.

(Incidentally, this also is where the year moves into Capricorn, the Goat — the Initiate who begins his journey up and out of the depths of winter / darkness with sure-footedness, strong steps and an eager Heart.)

Now, you can agree with me or not, and certainly many have disagreed vehemently. But once you start really looking at astrology and letting the notion into your mind that Jesus is actually the personification of the Sun, things will begin to click into place.

And for the record, it’s not just the Bible that encodes these Truths into its stories. The Qur’an, the Torah, the Upanishads, the Emerald Tablets of Thoth, etc, etc do it too. If you can read them with an open heart, you see that the Savior is the Sun.

But here’s yet another layer to the meaning of “Christmas” that just serves to reinforce the importance of looking at all of this astrologically.

“Many centuries ago in the precession of the equinoxes, the end of the year was marked by the position of the great Dog-Star Sirius, mighty celestial symbol of the divinity in man. Precisely at midnight of December 24 it stood on the meridian line from the zenith to Egypt. At the same moment there arose on the eastern horizon the constellation of the Virgin, bearing in her left arm the Christ child, symbol of the Christhood coming to function in man, and in her right hand, the great star Spica (Latin, a head, or “spike” of wheat), symbol of that same divinity coming as celestial food for man.”

Jesus was born of the Virgin, Virgo, on “Christmas”.
It’s not literal.
It’s written in the stars.

So, in my estimation, you can let go of all those times you tried to make sense of a child being born to a woman who never had sex. And all the times you wondered about poor Joseph and the faith he must have had to believe in her anyway. And all the machinations that came with it.
