These ones with restless minds, searching for knowledge, who have refused and are refusing to be content with the meager bit of revealed knowledge, are the great benefactors of the human race, and as a rule they have been required to pay the price.
First they had to visualize the thing they desired. They had, by the effort of thinking, to create the desire. They had to rise above the stupid contentment of passivity to obtain a level of achievement beyond their predecessors. They had to be willing, to some extent, to give up the pleasures of the world, that they might benefit the world; for by separating themselves from the multitudes they were able to pioneer into uncharted fields β alone.
Their whole desire is to magnify Godβs name upon the earth and to help lift His sons and daughters out of the mud and into the light. ΰ°
